@jman26b Just get yourself a decent camera and an interesting idea and go from there. Also, just put a lot of effort forth and it will show in the final product. Best of luck!
i was watching this and was like wow this isnt that bad intense keeps u on edge and then this little green monster shows up and just ruins the whole this and its crediblitiy
how much money did you have invested in the equipment used to make this film? I am new to filmmaking and want write and film a short. I'm wondering which camera to buy for a small budget indie guy like me? Would you still recommend I get the HVX200?
every single shot in this film was a piece of art.. its rare that I shoot something in one of my shorts that I REALLY like.. you make me sick :P jk this was awesome man.. im thinking about selling my DVX to get a HVX when I save up abit more.. but im sure the lenses you used made the footage look so good, I bet a stock HVX wouldnt have looked near this excellent.
@brettsk8 thanks for watching. The lenses I used are old beat up Nikons ranging between $50-$80. Stock HVX has much wider depth of field making everything in focus, but with the 35mm adapter one is able to control the depth of field via the use of 35mm lenses. This film was a result of boredom and wanting to try out some new film toys. Set your mind to it and you never know what cool short films one can come up with!
very nice. I shoot wiht the HVX200 as well but I don't to do too many narratives with it. Its great to see it being used by someone who really knows how to take full advantage of its capabilities.
The "Bokeh Picture" logo? I shot a timelapse with a bunch of bokeh, and created the title in Photoshop. Put some jingle to it in Final Cut and voila. Hahah
wow dude this is a really good video. I'm going into film myself and I have to say this looks superb. What kind of editing software did you use because along with the look of it the editing was flawless. Great job keep up the good work
Reeaaaally nice:) It was really nicely done, especially the part when shee has nightmares. It was a whole lot better than I expected:) Got me pumped to make some shortfilms of my own!
GREAT ! the sound and bla bla bla *idontknowthefilmequickment* but over all its hororable , haha :D
