Nay. Andre is a guy and Oscar a lady, although both of them were played by female actress in the play. In the story, Oscar was raised up as a boy so she dressed up like a lad, and then she fell in love with Andre.
Lady Oscar is one of my favourite anime and I know the story :) I was asking about this musical, btw also if they use female actress I find it very very nice!
