this is so wonderful, what a skewering of the elitist self-absorption that thinks it produces art. This is something true poetry can do wonderfully well, when it's not mired in over-intellectualisation. I translated Catullus in high school-- 2000 years on we translated some of the most brilliant insults ever uttered. This is a poem in that longer, more noteworthy tradition. Well done, Taylor.... but I'm glad someone called you out on Aramaic, lol!
