A different video of this same dance that I saw had a introduction to it. They said that the girl lost her arm in a car accident and the man lost his leg when he was a child, but they didn't say how exactly.

@emjimdanc3 the girl lost her arm during a car accident when she was 19 years old and she almost gave up dancing that time. She met the one leg guy one day and trained him up. He did not no dancing at all and the girl trained him up. With very hard work and perseverance, he manage to perform like a professional in a year.
