  • your favorite music is... i don't know? XD

  • yanks don't talk english

  • Actually, they do

  • I'd rather say it's more American English;)

  • Two errors: Trainstation is two separate words train station and lets should be let's...

  • You are correct.

"Let's" is a contraction for "let us"

"lets" is a verb. I let, you let, she lets.

I think train station got smushed together because of the silver bar between the two boards. Difficult to write.

  • what language were the captions in? Polish?

  • yes, it's Polish language. I'm from Poland

  • Um.. wow... the credentials seem to have been ignored..... mawkish.... wow and you think that's an esoteric word?

  • You are hilarious. If you're going to bullshit then it's probably best to keep to a believable version.

    You are a joke Tubbs.

  • What I find interesting is that my credentials are thought of as a joke... though it does seem quite impossible to get summa cum laude, many do achieve the highest level of honors.... if you don't believe me, why should I care, I don't know you, plus, I'm 48 buddy

  • When I have a moment, I will go through the flaws within your story.

  • *Even

In my haste to post a comment and also being in fits of laughter, yes I did make a typo...

  • Firstly, I am not American. Second of all, my subsequent reply did not say British English was another language altogether; what I was defending was the English language in its entirety; its one language. and what you ignorantly said is " this is not English" furthermore, I was using an example that without the U.S, English wouldn't really be a useful language in today's world. Why do you think everyone wants to learn it, because of the U.S .... the U.K's pop is what ? 60 million?

  • you don't see such a large need to learn French do you? why? because look at France's population and effect on the planet. Yes it is studied by many, but not nearly as many as English; that's what English would be without the U.S., just another language. it's an obvious fact that English is extremely ubiquitous throughout the world, not just in the U.S. You also showed your ignorance when you jumped to insinuation and labelled me as untravelled.

  • In addition, also using superlatives when referring to a people is also ignorant. "From your naive account of the language" I gave a very simple example of a difference found in both American and British English to give a counterargument to your comment " this is not English" Why would I write an intricate essay to show a simple dichotomy? .

  • . And finally, I am not only extremely travelled, but also have a P.Hd in Astrophysics summa cum laude and I 'm pretty sure most people don't have the brains for that. I don't like to give out my crendentials, but when someone such as yourself starts yapping gratuitously , I had to defend myself. And by labelling Americans as the most stupid race on the planet actually makes you seem uncultivated. If you really were cultivated, you wouldn't have said that.

  • To conclude, you were so irritated by my simple comment that you reveal you are both pugnacious and just plain sad.

  • Quite a rant you had there! Unfortunately I have to go home now for a meal but I will reply to your comments when I get a chance and I will attempt to help you with your problems. You do seem to have some kind of a veiled mawkishness about you though, and while you look that one up...

  • would you be interested in making a porn film

  • Man she is extremely good looking! : )

  • who is she?

  • this is american English, not English

  • Oh please..

  • They are 2 different languages kid.

  • Not really... a different language uses completely different words altogether... obviously British English uses various different words like lift for elevator, but the language itself is basically the same. If you pick up a book in "English" 99% of the book is the same both in American and British English. And get over yourself, even though you may think British English is the real English, the U.S.A has made English a world language that is used daily by millions.

  • "Evene though you may think British English is a real language", lol, now that IS funny. I wonder if it's the same as English, English?

From your naive account of the language I would assume you are untravelled.

The people using american English on a daily basis would be american?

You are without a doubt THE most stupid race on earth of which you are a prime example.

I suggest you rethink your line of argument as you are way out of your depth here Tubbs.

  • How i can make that kind of video with her speaking how cool i am ?

  • nie rozumien jej!!

  • Is this like human trafficing or something? someone should do a little research...

  • funny how the other ones I've seen talk about the toilet. If you said you had to go to the toilet that means you have to take a dump!

  • easy language

  • Though the grammar is easy.. it is just as hard as any other language..

one gets off a bus but one gets out of a car... just one example in a million

  • Comment removed

  • But a surprising amount of native English speakers could not write an academic essay. I've been told its a very easy language for at least normal and conversational speech.

  • What people don't understand is the grammar may be easier, but the number of words one has to learn and expressions is endless! if you're learning English has a young adult or adult, you can kiss goodbye the possibility of speaking really fluently and what i mean by that is understanding every single word in a movie like he's not that into you with a lot of colloquial expressions like pep talk or snake the drain.. it's just as hard as any language in terms of vocabulary

  • Dude i am a native English speaker and can barely speak English, German is much easier for me than my native language.

  • Um your comment is quite contradictory.... if you're a native English speaker, that means you learned it as a very small child ... it doesn't make any sense to say you can barely speak English.. what does that even mean? did you learn it as a teenager?

  • I did learn it as a child, but my tong is slightly larger than normal so i had to spend many years in speech therapy, But it didn't help so when i speak English it sounds funny. On my videos it takes me a bunch of takes at the audio before i get it right, My newest video took me 48 trys at the audio. But however i can speak German perfectly,

  • @TubbyWilliams lol I thought the same thing.

  • @TubbyWilliams English is probably the easiest language to learn.

  • @Obamaownswhitesnow it's funny that so many people say that it's the easiest as if it's so easy that in like a couple of months everyone that learns it will speak perfectly... I have spoken to dozens of people who made countless errors in a 5 minute conversation, half of them Polish and they had been living in Canada for like at least 7 years... if it's so easy and the grammar for idiots then why oh why do foreigners fuck up the simplest of phrases all the time?

  • @TubbyWilliams English is easy to catch up. I mean, the minute you learn a 2nd language you will understand. When u feel the people around know what are you talking about then you lose the fear and stop learning properly. After all, u just want to be heard, not be perfect.

  • @TubbyWilliams hey i only speak english and it would still be hard for me lol

  • Lol: My favorite music is... IDK!!

  • LMAO if you put these sentences together in a conversation, it does look like shes coming on to you and trying to get you to bed then she goes "it hurts" XD

or maybe thats just my ugly brain

  • lol :D

  • lol that's sounds funny but i agree with you mate.

  • Lol. I can understand this one. XD

  • Lol me too.. I wonder why :O

  • I love you too! :P

  • Fajna dupa :p

  • She speaks with a lot of emphasis, almost like there's stress in the English language - that's not very good when teaching someone how to speak this language

  • Why worry about stressed syllables here and there, when the UK has possibly hundreds of regional dialects, incredibly obscure slang terms, and a population that doesn't give a damn about using their own language properly? :-)

On the positive side, that does mean you can mess up quite badly and still be mostly understood!

  • Yeah.. annoying considering I already know the language eh.. xD

If only I was born and taught the more difficult languages first :P

  • She's cute, and i love her english, hehe :)

  • Man in my opinion this is very usefull lesson

  • You shouldn't use "what's your name?" and "How old are you?" directly to not that close persons with you.

May I have your name please?

Could you tell me your name?

May I ask your name please?

Would you mind me asking you how old you are? etc.

  • Would you mind me asking you to give us more examples :D

  • -What's your name?

    -Elizabeth

    -Elizabeth who?

    -Elizabeth II

  • lol

  • This girl is American lol not English

  • Comment removed

  • I love!!

  • oookay, i don't understand this.

Is the lady who's speaking teaching English?

Or is she taching Polish? Or some other language?

  • she is teaching English for Polish people

  • she wants me

  • hmm.. is this AE or BE? it sounds like AE for me without this - in my opinion - horrible chewing gum sound. i cant get that with the TH uuuhrg >:D

  • AE - Michigan

  • hihi michigan is nice. do you know in which part of the usa they speak bubblegummish? is it in NY?

  • They speak bubblegummish in your mom's mouth where there is a party and everyone is coming.

  • I refuse to accept that it is "human nature to hate," I think you are absolutely incorrect. Hate is not a good thing!

  • RadioVulture is a racist fool, just check out the comments on his page.

  • Thanks, yes, I went to his page and saw the things he says...

  • Wow, ouch. Actually, the phrase "I hate" was translated from a list of German Phrases. It was not originally on the list of English phrases. I don't know why it's the only video with that phrase, and if I could change it I would. I would prefer not to have it in this video because it is not a phrase that I use, and most people I know realize that "hate is a strong word."

I really am hurt by what you say because I am from the US, and I can tell you that I do not hate anyone or anything.

  • lmfao whatever

  • You look the best from the whole grup :P (Monti)

  • Monti!! Hello :)

  • This is very cool !

Any chance of doing the reverse ?

ie Phrases in Polish with English subtitles.

If there is one thing I need help with it's pronunciation.

    Cool vid all the same.

  • scratch that I guess,

You have loads of stuff on here that does that, but I do like this format in particular.

  • Awesome, very good for someone starting.
