I just tried this today. I bought it yesterday at Big Lots for $2.50 I also bought a product called trevor sorbie texturcreme styler (moisturizer..I usually use Cantu) for $1.50. My hair turned out great. My roots are so moist and my curls well defined. They both did an excellent job...I'm going to stock up this weekend..can't beat the price:)
Umm..yeah. You did. LOL. If you didnt leave me a comment then how would I be able to comment you back?? LOL. You were talkin about how these products are "white girl" products or some crap
What is wit you and this "white girl" stuff?? LOL. These products work perfectly fine for black ppl. And I DO use Creme of Nature...I use whateva works.
Map2633- honestly hair is more of a type than a "color, race, or ethnicity". If we all bout into the white/black paradigm we would still be sitting in the back of the bus- after all we were told that the back of the bus is for blacks! So what's my point? we should all use whatever works for our hair. I am just loving the fact that there is such a positive community of women who wear their hair natural. God bless us all in our personal journeys!
I am glad that you like it! I hate it because it burns my scalp. It felt like I had put a relaxer on it. Has way too much alcohol for my sensitive scalp. But as long as it works for you, use it.
It was actually the opposite for me, I first got the sunsilk hydra tlc and I didnt like it at all so I decided to try herbal essences and I fell in love. I guess different hair react to different products.
This is what I do. Get in the shower, drench your hair, massage the conditioner into your hair and get the ends good as well. Let the conditioner set for a few minutes and then start detangling your hair, once you're done add some more conditioner (don't wash out the conditioner thats already in your hair because the brushing/combing got some of the conditioner to your scalp and you want it to soak it) let the conditioner stay in your hair while you are taking the rest of your shower..then
I swear by that stuff! Trust me it's the best conditioner for curly hair..well for mine type atleast. I love it. Trust me, i have LITERALLY tried EVERY conditioner that exists in the hair care aisle, with the exception of head and shoulders lol. And it is my absolute favorite. The second best to it is Pantene Hydrating Curls...I LOOOVE THE SMELL!
But yeah totally twisted will hydrate your hair, add definition, minimize frizz..I even use it for detangling as well. I absolutely love it!!!
Girl the Hello Hydration one works wonders for my hair! Id say for me personally it is a great product, now the totally twisted one I havent used before so I dont have any critiques for that one.
I have Hello Hydration, and I love it. It's a little to expensive for me on my budget right now, but when I get a job during the holidays, I'm definitely going to get some more. I'm sure the totally twsited is really good too. I got Hello Hydration because I'm a sucker for anything coconut. lol
I've never used that before. For the past months, I've been using Nature's Gate Herbal Daily Conditioning Conditioner (as my co-wash/deep conditioner-w/ 2 tbls of honey and olive oil....and as a leave in plain mixed with water in spray bottle).
made my hair feel funny. but after a while it was fine.
