Daesung can hit the high notes strong, clean and beautifully. That's why he takes part in hitting high notes in Bigbang. But it doesn't mean he sings better. His middle voice is weak and simple husky, he's mediocre and can't express various emotions in some notes.

@paladine6 When Dae sings slowly, it's ok but it's hard for him to sing more complex and groovy parts with his middle voice. That's why he's not the main vocalist in Bigbang. That's why he didn't debut as a solo artist yet because he couldn't find the right genre suitable for his voice.

Most of korean ballade singers have similar problems. They trained their vocals too severe to enlarge their vocal range.
