Some of Incubus's old albums like make yourself, Morning View, and even S.c.i.e.n.c.e. were all good in some ways or another. However, some of there new stuff especially Light Grenades is terrible, Crow Left For Murder was eh, but I love 311 and I might rank them a bit higher than Incubus. I actually wouldn't compare them because there both so different. One is funky and heavy metal like (incubus), the other one is like hard rock blended with elements of reggae (311).

Some people like Incubus more, some like 311 more. I personally choose 311 cause I've listened to their albums for a longer time. Its like, all of 311 versus Incubus's "Make Yourself" album, so you could probably just disregard my opinion based on that. They're both great though!

incubus is more talented, are you fucking shitting me? first off, thats bullshit. nick hexum and SA have the coolest voices ever, thats talent. and chad sexton is amazing, pnut kicks ass, and mahoney is fucking good, go listen to taiyed or nutsymptom if you doubt that. what it comes down to is 311 has produced upwards of 140 songs that kick ass. incubus songs like vitamin are good but not as good as 311. and tell incubus to whip 140 better songs out of their assholes, then you can talk

incubus is much more talented, 311 has painfully average singers "misdirected hostilittyyyy thats what you got see!!!" lmao their melody's r garbage and their voices r average, guitar is easy as fuck 2 play on every song, try 2 play a song like stellar by incubus its fuckin impossible, 311's drummer is painfully boring 2 listen 2, 311 sucks but their fun 2 listen 2 cause they're chill, definately not a very talented band as far as professional music comes

Some of Incubus's old albums like make yourself, Morning View, and even S.c.i.e.n.c.e. were all good in some ways or another. However, some of there new stuff especially Light Grenades is terrible, Crow Left For Murder was eh, but I love 311 and I might rank them a bit higher than Incubus. I actually wouldn't compare them because there both so different. One is funky and heavy metal like (incubus), the other one is like hard rock blended with elements of reggae (311).

wow man, 2 albums, impressive. if incubus was "more talented" they could put out more than 2 good albums. Plus, I dont even really think those were that great. 311 put out music, grassroots, and the blue album in 3 years. That is talent, and those cd's kick ass. Then transistor, soundsystem, and from chaos 2 years a part. Thats a shitload of good music. Great bands put out more than 2 good cd's. Incubus is like a shitty version of the used, but the used kicks ass.

incubus is a great band with an awesome vocalist but like other bands there music has changed and has gotten a little soft, science and make yourself were the best albums, as for 311 there music has change also, music and grass roots are the best albums. but as for both of the bands they both kick ass

I'd agree about 311 and Incubus both being tight, but not about lylrics. I love 311 but agree that their lyrics aren't always the best. Incubus however I'd say is a different story. Brandon Boyd is an incredible writer and I think he's one of the most talented lyricists in rock today!!!

Some people like Incubus more, some like 311 more. I personally choose 311 cause I've listened to their albums for a longer time. Its like, all of 311 versus Incubus's "Make Yourself" album, so you could probably just disregard my opinion based on that. They're both great though!

i think 311 and incubus are equally amazing but think both should take a step back and start making albums like they used to. they'v both changed record labels which mite be the reason for sounding so different these days. different isnt always a bad thing tho. u can tell from their live shows..both bands tend to play so much of their classic songs and maybe 2 or 3 new ones. i feel like they even know their old material outways their new stuff

yeaa i hope 311 brings it back to the roots on their next studio albums. its not too late. i think incubus is already far gone..i think the bassist change was the start of their, in my opinion, downfall. Of course brendan's still a genius wen it comes to songwriting but theres just something missing from em now.. the F-U-N-K...ya diggg

ya know that thats not an entirely bad thing. You dont want an entire album being slow songs and another being really hardcore. You probably want something right in the middle. And you got a great taste for music if you like 311 AND Incubus.
