In the drivers defense it really pisses me off when the light is yellow for like 2 seconds. Because the yellow light is on for such a short period of time it makes it look like the driver ran the light, but he didn't.
The light just turns red too damn fast. It's usually only a problem with left turns though.
that protected turn changes too fast. usually about 3-5 cars would get through before it changes red. from the back of the line, it would take about 2-3 signals before you get to that turn.
Not only red light runners are dangerous drivers. They are exceedingly rude. They need to break the habit of driving against the red light. It won't get them anywhere if they stop at a red light, but it will help save precious lives.
Make yellow lights longer, you won't have much of a problem. Running the light by up to 1 second usually isn't a problem, the idiots who are still going after it turns green are stupid though.
Drivers everywhere need babysitting. They only seem to get traffic police involved when it becomes a crisis or 2-3 people get killed at an intersection.
This is probably the best place in the area to catch red light runners. They could easily set up a couple of motorcycle cops to the right at Winston and nail them, but they simply don't exist. Perhaps it's time to set up red light cameras there?

I agree. They should have a standardized time and a countdown so people don't have to brake hard or jam on the fucking gas to make it.
