Talk about making something out of nothing. As others have stated, all he was saying is that Thomas' style of play leaves him vulnerable to that type of goal, while his does not. He then points out that it's a tradeoff, because Thomas' aggressive style will help him make saves that Luongo cannot. Coming out covers more of the goal from straight-on shots, but leaves you more vulnerable to get "caught out." It's really not that big off a deal. (Note: I'm not a Canucks fan and like Thomas.)
