I would like to think I try just as hard to maintain my yt channel as most people and I still don't have much of an audience neither am I gaining that much, next time you feel demotivated just know that you have over 25,000 fans that all wish they could have the same opportunity as you, which is making money off of what you love to do. just try your best to stay away from the negativity.

Thats a shit load of people just because your not hitting 6k views doesnt mean your not as good as anyone else. and example of a recent whiteboy video that I enjoyed watching for it's appeal and originality was his "how to kill a juggernaut" video. Videos like that is a big part of why he's so popular on youtube - he posts different content every once in a while. Hope that helped.
Where do I start.. let's take whiteboy as an example. I agree with you to some extent, many of his videos are crap. The reason I subbed to him in the first place, was because I watched one of his recent prank call videos and thought it was funny. But apart from that and his low quality videos, he offers diverse game content, fail videos and several other things that make his channel more appealing. As opposed to sniping videos under different names.
Dude, I used to make montages for Halo a LONG time ago. I've made probably 50+ and I really never got any views, but I did it for fun and that's what kept me going. That's what YOU need to do to keep going. Maybe one day I'll reach a point where people see my editing skills, but until then I keep doing what I love and that's what keeps me alive, man. :)

I like to watch commentaries more because its more real. Like i get to actually see your game play rather than a bunch of clips of collaterals. Im sure that those montage clips are hard to get.. but its been getting too crazy lately. Especially how certain people have been fast forwarding through in between shots. I feel like I dont get to see anything that way. Like they might as well show a bunch of people falling on the ground. With the commentary i get to see how u set up for the kills.
It's not just about the views, it's about how much you enjoy making these vids, and how much the viewer enjoys watching them. I personnaly think if you don't wanna make videos, you shouldn't. You shouldn't do things you don't want. But I hope you keep making videos though. :)

Ok. You complain about your view count. If you could JUST do this for fun and just do what YOU like you will see that you get alot more views. Where do I start.. let's take whiteboy as an example. I agree with you to some extent, many of his videos are crap. The reason I subbed to him in the first place, was because I watched one of his recent prank call videos and thought it was funny. But apart from that and his low quality videos, he offers diverse game content, fail videos and several other things that make his channel more appealing. As opposed to sniping videos under different names.

Dude, I used to make montages for Halo a LONG time ago. I've made probably 50+ and I really never got any views, but I did it for fun and that's what kept me going. That's what YOU need to do to keep going. Maybe one day I'll reach a point where people see my editing skills, but until then I keep doing what I love and that's what keeps me alive, man. :)

I like to watch commentaries more because its more real. Like i get to actually see your game play rather than a bunch of clips of collaterals. Im sure that those montage clips are hard to get.. but its been getting too crazy lately. Especially how certain people have been fast forwarding through in between shots. I feel like I dont get to see anything that way. Like they might as well show a bunch of people falling on the ground. With the commentary i get to see how u set up for the kills.

Because If you do something you like than people will notice it and like it. If you do things just because you want to get views people will notice that too and then think your videos are less fun. So... my channel has like 38 subs, but I am still getting only 10-20 views a video(that usually goes up after about a week), and it kinda sucks to know that my whole viewer base isn't watching... Which is kinda what you were saying, but at the same time, I feel like it's not something to be sad about, I mean, if even 1 person watches my vids and leaves a comment or like I am thrilled since they enjoyed it...
