  • alright, wow, da sda be praising him like the pentecostal church! alright, ya betta sang for him!!

  • poor lady on the end didn't get much youtube time. good song.

  • why cant you just have a good time listening to this music?

i am asda myself and i dont find i t necessary to talk about this on this wonderful site created to share videos!!

    peace brothers!

    chill!

enjoy the love of Jesus and get happy!

  • CONT..He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves, but He entered THE MOST HOLY PLACE ONCE FOR ALL by His own blood, having obtaines eternal redemption.(Hebrews 9:11-12) BenJune09, there is also the doctrine of" soul sleep" that is not biblical,If you wish, I can share those verses too, peace and blessiings.

  • peacechild61, I'm glad you brought this very important subject up. I noticed most former members left the church over a misunderstanding and perhaps defining our terms might help bridge the gap. Seventh Day Adventist have always believed in a complete Atonment that hasent been completed yet. Now, let that sink in a little...we believe what Jesus did at the cross is enough and that nothing can be added to Calvary. Let me paint that in red, yellow, blue and all the colors. It was enough.

  • Cont...We must also take into consideration the sacrifice in the sanctuary service was offered in the courtyard (Calvary) and that was not the end, it is not completed. You still have the priestly work in both compartments and the two goats both the lords goat and the scape goat (Satan). I have not gone into detail for sake of room but there's more to this process of clensing the sanctuary of sin

  • Cont...consider complete and completed. What Jesus did on the cross is compete and enough. But dont tell the criple its completed, or the blind and deaf its completed or the homeless its completed. It will not be completed until Jesus sets all things right and makes all things new. We are at this moment searching our hearts like the children of Isreal (on the day of atonement) waiting for the high priest to come from the holy of holys and give us the good news.

  • Cont...I dont expect folks to have a change of heart thru youtube but perhaps your the exception. You must admit that if its "completed" at the cross it would be bad news considering the condition were all in. Any way, food for thought my friend. I have to get back to the exercise...the Air Force keeps us busy these days. God bless you and family!

  • all that...and you're in the air force?

  • Immortality of the soul is not biblical. It takes away from the great hope of Jesus second coming. My dear evangelical brother, the most damaging doctrine has been eternal punishment in hell forever and ever and we as SDA do not hold to those believes. I am glad we see God's justice from another perspective.

  • EGW said that when Christ died, rose and ascended to heaven He had not yet entered THE MOST HOLY PLACE in His Role as High Priest. She says He did this in 1844! But Scripture contradicts this"" when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not manmade, that is to say not a part of this creation.

  • The tabernacle has two compartments in heaven. The earthly tabernacle is a model of the heavenly temple. The doctrine of the investigative judgment is not an EGW doctrine. It is as biblical as all of the believes that SDA hold. You can just read Daniel 7.

  • SINCE THAT TIME He waits for His enemies to be made His footstool, because by one sacrifice He HAS MADE PERFECT FOREVER those who are being made holy(Hebrews10:12-14)so you see, Jesus DID NOT NEED to enter the Sanctuary in 1844,His sacrifice was perfect AT THE CROSS Jesus also said"IT IS FINISHED" at the Cross, Thanx

  • The things described in Indiana, the Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation. There will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses will become so confused they cannot be trusted to make right decisions.A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts that which might be a blessing. The powers of satanic agencies blend with the noise to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirit's working.Satan will make music a snare by the way it is conducted. EGW

  • i'm from romania......i like this sooooooong

  • Very good! For

  • AMEN!

  • I like your way to praise the lord!

Would you be interested to come to Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico and sing with us?

  • very nice! wish we singer like that here in the philippines!

  • absolutely love it!

  • Looks like were getting back to the club...cant tell the diffrence from this song and R&B. Dont doubt the sincerity...and perhaps in certain places music is important to get people to listen...but lets not lower the standard, it will most certainly have a worse effect in the end.

  • so if drums and piano's are used in church too praise the Lord its a bad thing?

  • djchillman, sorry brother...should have been more clear. Instruments that have strings (not electric guitars unless electric classical), brass (trumpets), woodwind instruments are to be used in worship. Drums move the listener away from God and true worship. I encourage you to read Louis Torres book, "Notes on Music" or refrence Ellen White's clear statements on the subject...that is if you can use her. I do think the song is nice but not ment for worship in the sanctuary. God Bless!

  • Piano is a string instrument...

  • thats what gets me confused some are ok and some instruments aren't ok for praising God?

  • No problem...I mentioned a couple of refrences, a book and author. I belive theres a text in the Psalms too but I dont have that memorized. Take care and let me know what you find. Bro Ben

  • so im suppoose too trust a "prophet" (egw) instead of my own convention?

  • I suggest Louis Torres book notes on music. I know the man personnaly and he's a friend of the family. If you can find the time check out the book, it will answer all your questions and more...

  • djchillman, More on notes on music...you might be suprised to learn the powerful effect music has on the body. We all have natural rythms that if interupted it affects us. Thats why your foot taps or hands when you hear a beat with drums and you didnt even think about it...music can be a blessing or curse depending on how its conducted. Check out Torres notes on music...good stuff!

  • thats true.

  • u should also read the church manual in reference to different cultures. the gospel music is more cultural and its roots go wayyyyyyyyyyyy back in african american history and was used as a code fo the slaves to escape from their masters so stop attacking african ameericans praising god through gospel music.

  • djchillman, I myself see nothing wrong with ANY instrument used in church, when its used to praise God. I was once SDA (11years) but the nitpicking about what EGW said,to ok my eyes and focus off Christ,it kept my mind preoccupied with non-essentials.CHRIST IS ALL!! Now i wear NO denominational tag, I am just a Christian living each day by faith in my Lord Jesus Christ, I could care less about reading (EGW) or any other books except the Bible, which is sufficient for all Christians.

  • peacechild61, you might not see anything wrong but does that make it right? Often times we can be sincere and be sincerly wrong. This is not nitpicking, its safeguarding against sinking lower into the world. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding about EGW. Its a misunderstanding. EGW and her writing never leads one away from Christ. If you read the DESIRE of AGES or Steps to Christ you would not be so quick to put her down, most of her wrigint is scripture.

  • BenJune09,I respect your right to a different opinion, but it is only that, an opinion! Scripture backs up the use of drums, and many varied insruments the tribes of Israel used to praise God..New Testament also says to praise the Lord continously with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. These are three differing styles of music, yet all are acceptable to God,BTW,I DID read EGW Desire of Ages, and steps to Christ, she maintains many things that simply are not true.

  • peacechild61, I have researched the scripture you refer to and it's not the same type of drum we have today. It's a small hand held made with skin and it clasp's together not struck from above like a cymbol. I have made refrence below so i dont have too go into it again. I am curious on what part of the Desire of Ages and Steps to Christ you say isnt true. Please reply and thanks!

  • Hi BenJune09,the major difference between the New Testament and EGW writings has to do with the Sanctuary Doctrine. Jesus work at the Cross was a FINISHED work,EGW wrote that in 1844,Jesus entered the Most Holy Place to cleanse(unfinished work) the Sanctuary, this contradicts Gods Word( Hebrews 10)"But when this priest had offered FOR ALL TIME (finished work)ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS,HE SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD."
