Thanks for the upload. Personally I think it's an awesome performance. Dear me I love this band too much. Nice to see some useful info on the upload and the comments instead of the usual mindless drivel and trolling.
I don't know, but this doesn't really seem like a good performance to me. Often out of tune, out of time, out of energy in general. Not to mention the terrible mixing (but that's festivals I guess). The only "classic" quality, I think, is the size of it..
@MrTarpband - Have you ever looked for a pro quality concert of Bungle that has all the things you are mentioning? Just curious because most of the footage is much worse than this. Or maybe just not a bungle fan in general?
Aficionado from Ukraine here, and I'm really grateful for your upload. Spruance, Patton & Dunn are hyper-talented. And the moment Mr. Bungle decided to split up is one of the greatest moments of modern music history. Even though they were magnificent, powerful, super-talented together, would anyone like them being caged in single group? That would be such a waste! Check out all that's connected to those three talents, all the bands. You won't regret. Personally, I don't.
even though some of the vocals are out of tune, the jackie de shannon cover at the start is one of the most beautiful versions i ever heard...1:08 sends shivers down my spine
Greatest troll band ever. Name me one other group that just gave so little of a fuck what people thought of them that they would lead off a summer festival main-stage set with a Burt Bacharat cover leading into a swing-metal/rockabilly song. Just name ONE, please...
@DronePortalWave a little bit more enjoyable imo, but that's just me. Primus are amazing but Bungle have just a little more scope in their sound. Amazing that that's even possible considering how eclectic Primus are but there we go...
@Rodney21a it's totally awesome, Patton is one of the greatest singers of our time. Such a shame they are no more. I can only hope to catch him in one of his many other bands.
@guillermoallen2 - Glad you enjoyed it! This concert should be played for every music fan in the world! Would be a good thing to add to all music classrooms too! Teach a lot about songwriting and amazing musicianship!
There are a few videos of a pro-shot Sno-core (I think it's sno-core) show. It's in Köln. The video of Carry Stress In The Jaw is from that show, and there's one of The Air-Conditioned Nightmare. I fucking love this show, but there's times when the mixing is just awful, and you can tell Trey is pissed off. The mixing is awesome in my afformentioned videos.
@pamaspamas and @Teabonesteak - I checked out both bands. I really wanted to like Sykotik but they were a bit bland for me. It was like diet bungle, without all the shredding in every area (vocals/instruments etc.). Looks like a fund show to watch though! Cardiacs were a bit better, kinda reminded me of they might be giants, but not really bungle. they didnt have any metal influence or anything, but maybe I didnt hear tne right tunes. Check out "Nuclear Rabbit" and "Dog Fashion Disco"
@Teabonesteak oh crap that's right Mr.Bungle had those really cool cassette only releases goin for a while there before that debut CD (wrath of easter bunny, ou818 etc etc etc).

The fact that they could even come 90 percent to close to reproducing some of these tunes live is amazing.

@Rodney21a - I agree, it is amazing that the live show can actually be better than the CD... no clue how they pulled off that magic trick!

@pamaspamas I just did a quick search and SYKOTIK SYNFONEY apparently formed in 1988; 4 years after bungle.
