DUDE!!!! That was so fantasticly awsome. That was the starship I grew up watching. First with the animated series and then with TOS. I know that the live series came first, but I was first expossed to Star Trek via the Filmation Animated series. That was my first starship and you made me fall in love with her all over again. Thanks for your comments buddy. The phasers and torpedos were done in Max Design 2009. A simple piece of animated geometry rendered in a seperate pass and composited in after fx. I checked out your site....................have enjoyed some of the 911 stuff.

Funny you should say that. Right now IM doing an updated 2009 version. That was an old one I did, and I had wanted to go back and redo it. Im hoping to gewt it done in the month. So far it looks far better than the old one you just watched.............so stay tuned. Thanks for your comments buddy.

My one criticism is that the torpedo effects move too slowly. Maybe you could speed them up a little in future releases? But awesome CG, nonetheless.

Thanks buddy. Yeah all on my own. This was all done with Max Design 2009 and composited in After FX. Hard to say how long...................these are actually just test renders. I have yet to render these out as tinkering is still going on. The finished renders will be more realistic than these. Thanks for you words mate. Good luck on your own quest.
