  • @glamology You are the only one in youtube to talk about natural beauty products :P And i'm a french girl! Your channel is GREAT!

  • @kate3171 thank you xoxoxo

  • Hi ! my name is Steffani and I am the owner and Skin guru behind "VariableFunkSkin" on Etsy which is a Totally Natural Skin and Body care line, I also donate 5% of each product sale to the World Wildlife foundation. I LOVE your channel and would love to send you a gift package to do a review... and spread the love .....what do you think! Thank you so much for your awesome Channel! xoox Steffani

  • @sssteffistar Thank you so much at this time I have cut down on my reviews and will not be doing any until spring.

  • Congratulations on your videos and exposing people to this vital information. and the message that it is possible to be glamorous and toxin free!

  • @craftyoldbroadsgmail thank you :)

  • OMG WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR BACKGROUND

  • @Yasmeen320 hehehe home depot !

  • @glitzstarzz you are very welcome :)

  • @glitzstarzz :) It is a natural mineral and is rated a 2 on ewg website. I consider this safe. Some people have allergies to Mica.

  • We need more people like you in youtube!!! =D

  • @GuidetteExpert aw- thank you for the nice feedback :) If made my day ! and also made the nasty comments on youtude tolerable

  • @glamology Haha np!! The haters are just weard, but ive never seen a hater comment on your site lol

  • @GuidetteExpert TOTAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I do extremely well with almost entirely Honey, Grape Seed Oil, Unrefined Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil--don't even have body-odor anymore (I use only Coconut Oil for under-wings, & only sometimes)!

Honey--AMAZING wound-care. Put it on a cut & see (it was used in wars in ancient Egypt)!

So, needless to say, honey+pimples=something from heaven..

I love African Black Soap, too; with all the above, I'm covered for gorgeousness!

Thank you for this video! Everyone, please, spread the word!

    <3...=).

  • You're amazing!!!

  • @jiskricka2 aw- thank - you :)

  • almost all eyeshadows contain Talc

  • @bluecharm08F no there are lot's of brands that dont. look for companies that are natural mineral makeup, My favorite is Ferro and it does not contain talc.

  • @glamology how about a good natural foundation? i found a couple at Farmaca, but i didn't like the consistency very much, what natural foundation would you recommend? thank you so much:)

  • @bluecharm08F Ferro also has a natural foundation that I use. they have radiance which is light coverage and ultimate which is full coverage. they use rice powder instead of talc. I have the full coverage ad love it natural beige

  • whats up with the elevator music?

  • @zoul86 lol you do like ?

  • Amazingly useful video, thank you! :-)

  • my homeopathic doctor told me not to use sun cream, as she said there were many cancerous products in there. she told me that staying in the sun unportected gives you skin cancer but the cream is probably even worse as it can lead to many different types of cancer. her tip was to build up your natural resistance to the sun slowly, starting by staying in the shade and going into the sun for just a little while at a time. also to avoid the hottest time of the day.

  • @acmulhern your doctor is correct, sunscreens do contain cancer causing ingredients and thus it's best to try to limit your use of sunscreen. Unless you are at the beach wearing loose fitting light clothing and a hat are the best way to protect yourself from the sun

  • Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate has been found by many studies to not be harmful in the amounts put in cosmetics/shampoos etc. :)

  • @eienMMO Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate is less toxic then others but exposures adds up

just because something is only a little toxic, doesn't mean that using this chemical in shampoo, conditioner or makeup etc... will not have an effect. Think about it, if Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate is in 4 or more of your products you use everyday. like your toothpaste, mouthwash, makeup you apply, shampoo, conditioner. you dont think it will affect you ?

  • @glamology think about that MCDonald movie he ate mcd for a month and had a dramatic affect of his health. but eating mcd in moderation will still have an affect but more slowly.... like a smoker they dont see the affects till later on in life not from the first puff. a chemical is still a chemical and should not be downplay on amount used

  • @glamology From what I have read, the concentrates of SLS in products is not nearly enough to penetrate your skin or hair, so it really isn't toxic to humans. I understand where the concern is though.

  • @eienMMO here is some of the research I have done on SLS One or more animal studies show brain, nervous system, or behavioral effect effects at moderate doses done by RTECS®- Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association, Scientific and Cancer links One or more in vitro tests on mammalian cells show positive mutation results RTECS®- Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology. I guess you have to determine what you think is best for you.

  • @eienMMO here is some of the research I have done on SLS One or more animal studies show brain, nervous system, or behavioral effect effects at moderate doses done by RTECS®- Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association, Scientific and on links to cancer One or more in vitro tests on mammalian cells show positive mutation results done by RTECS®- Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology

  • @eienMMO even so if SLS does not penetrate the skin or hair they are other chemicals such as nano particle that will pull SLS into the skin. It's the cocktail affect of chemicals in products. I guess you can only determine what is safe for you. this video is for people to become aware and not left in the dark.

  • @glamology I agree with you on many points. I try to be as natural as I can, but sometimes the natural and organic things are so pricey. I'm hoping natural and organic products become the norm sometime, so the prices will come down and everyonr can make smarter choices on products. :) Thanks for the informative video!

  • @glamology I agree and thank you for your input <3

  • thank you for such the good tips

  • Thank you for sharing this! It's so important for people to care about not only what they put in the bodies by also ON their bodies...

My current favorite companies that really care about what they put in their products are

    Raw Essentials by Carol Alt

    Dr. Bronner's body washes & Burt's Bees.

Have you tried any of these??

  • @PeaceLoveNutrition Yes I have tired burts bees

  • @PeaceLoveNutrition Dr. Bronners is the best!

  • Thank you for sharing this! There are so many companies out there that are labeling themselves 'natural' and 'organic' that only contain 1 actually good for you ingredient.

    Dr. Bronner's body washes & Burt's Bees.

Have you tried any of these??

  • Wow, avoiding the big labels and such means it's not only healthier but cheaper as well. Thanks! :D

  • @VocaloidObsessionID Thanks! :) xo

  • I think it's ridiculous how big name cosmetic companies use words like "natural" or claim that their makeup is mineral makeup when in deed it isn't when you look at the ingredients. Nor is it necessary for most of the makeup to be mineral based.

  • Wait don't read labels, but read ingredients?

  • @ironbith Labels will tell you that the product is natural and organic. Its a marketing gimmick. Read ingredients to see if a product is truly natural. There is no regulation on what is natural or Organic Any Company can claim that there product is safe.

  • @1q2w3e4ryyyy yes orglamix eye primer
