I know that i am guilty as well, however I must say: Why must we taint this perfect song and perfect voice with gratuitous political commentary? Let us appreciate Marian for the beauty she brought to the world without complaining about how much better the world could be, if only...

The important thing is that we are here, now, in this situation. We'll never know what would have happened, but we can make a better and more beautiful future, like Marian did for us.
