The actor who passed away last year was named Mark Priest. While the guy in this video isn't the same actor, Mark had worked as an actor for Disney for around 20 years. His passing was very tragic. My condolences to his family, friends and coworkers.

hi; we saw his show twice its right in front of the pirates ride; and he usally picked what looked like between 5 & maybe 7 yr olds. you get so close though i had as much fun as my lil girl; 2 steps ahead & i could of touched him. have fun!

my daughter was 4 when we went; she was picked; & it looked to me maybe the other boys that were picked werent any older than 8 or 9 im guessing-at the oldest.its so much fun for the adults also though. at the end of this show; he told the kids he had picked "ok now; go on back to your families; unless you can find a better one". i cracked up! {same exact mannerism as capt .jack in the movies!}

It's in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. When you enter the park, head toward the castle and then take a left. It's at the very end of Adventureland, right before you cross into Frontierland. :)

Get there early and try to get in the front. Check the times board on the upper end of Main Street, before you get to the Walt and Mickey statue in front of the castle. Tell her to raise her hand when he calls for volunteers and be all smiles. :)

I just returned from WDW, saw this show twice. First time, none of the kids didn't know how to point and say "Look! It's the Governor's daughter!" Also, right before the show ends Captain Jack picks 10 volunteers. The first time he didn't pick me, but the second time I saw it, I was like "Captain Jack Sparrow! Pick me!" And he did!! I didn't care that I was the tallest (or the oldest. I'm 17) So, if you're about my age, you might get lucky like me! (No guarantees. Sorry.)

Hey, I can't believe he is your brother. My 2 sisters and I in October went to Disney World for a month and went to that show a couple times a day everyday we were down there. We made t-shirts that said "Mack n Jack pirate groupies." At the end of our trip we made him a t-shirt that said "I love my pirate groupies." And we framed a picture for him of us with him. You should ask him if he remembers us. I would send you the pic. of us with him if I knew how.

Anywayz...for people who want to meet Jack, you can only "meet & greet" with him at the Pirate Princess Party. The wait is usually 45 mins and they close the doors at midnight (park closes at 12:30). I suggest you do everything at the party and then go visit Jack at midnight. That way you won't miss out on anything.

I was there in Feb. and I watched this Tutorial 3 times (3 different days). A different Mack every time but always the same Jack.

The third time I saw it I was wearing my "I love Jack" shirt along with my other pirate gear. I know he recognized me because he called me a groupie and asked me if it was his pirate charisma that kept bringing me back to see him. Then he asked if I wanted to be a redhead.

It's true. I work at WDW and all of the Sparrows that they chose were hand chosen AND the trainer was trained by Johnny Depp himself. So that's how he wanted them to act. :-D
