  • Say no to the DEA.

currently "referred to committee" per GovTrack

  • Free Hemp, free America! Hemp is a valuable industrial feed crop for fibre, paper, human nutrition and much more. Washington and Jefferson grew and smoked hemp crops. If we are not free to choose unwisely, poorly or irresponsibly, then we are not free at all.

  • im in canada and it should be the same here

  • Thanks for waking up the people. I think if we would grow hemp for paper we could stop the deforestation of the rain forest. Its worth it for that reason alone! Leagalize industrial hemp now!

  • hemp solves global warming... if it exists... spread the word.

  • a beautiful sight..

  • We are tired of being told what to grow what to eat what not to eat don't walk there don' speak here WTF?We the people have every right to grow HEMP for whatever we deem! Its way past time to take back this country and restore the rights of our people. That's what made this country great.

  • I have utmost respect for you guys standing up,For all us.Its way past time to put a stop to the paronoriad Law enforcement. We the people demand all legislation against our freedom is void and null! We have the right to grow Hemp If we so deem and it looks like these Jackboot thugs are gonna loose.Stand up people its time to take back this great country and be free from the tyrany and the lies weve been told .There is no court but the Court of true justice. We the people are that Court!

  • BRAVO!! BRAVO!!

Next time contact other Patriots and have thousands there.

If they think they do not have enough cars to kidnap the few that were there what would they do with THOUSANDS?

    Hemp: The Miracle Plant

    1. Make clothing

    2. Make gasohol that can sell for 50 cents per gallon

    3. Is used already in the car manufacturing business

    4. Healthy for the body and its oil is the highest in Omega 3,6 and 9

Henry Ford even made a cat out of it. Search "Hemp Car"

  • It's time for zero tolerance of this entire marijuana/hemp prohibition.

We need hemp now for all of the benefits that crop can bring, and we need to get rid of this ridiculous marijuana prohibition that nobody except the pharmaceutical lobby and the DEA supports.

It's up to us to stop allowing this idiotic prohibition. It's a prohibition that's being forced down the throats of Americans against their will.

  • Keep fighting the good fight, gentlemen! We need more pioneers like you. And as a people, all those who 'see' need to keep speaking these truths and educating those living in the dark.

  • Makes much stronger bodies for cars too! Stupid gov.

  • they want to turn this into a third world nation which is why they are blowing up the mountaintops took the gold and stopped the farmers from growing food w/nutrients. nutricide leaving our children to drugs gambling and pedophilia, national parks will be gaming reserves for the elite while our children live by rail road tracks in cubicals w/nothing.

  • Good for them! Rage against the machine! Hemp powder is a good source of protein. I use it to prevent dried figs and dates from sticking together when I chop them in a blender. I get extra protein at the same time.

  • Big pharma, big oil lobbyists twist politicians' elbows bent easily from the weight of monetary graft and promises they present officials buying their backing to criminalise an organic plant whose use could readily save the EARTH; however, hindering corporations flooding markets with toxic eco-destructive synthetic solutions. The more pragmatic solution growing hemp for its nearly 2500 uses needs to be addressed. This is not about getting high, it's about organically saving planet EARTH!

  • let them be. Bring back hemp. Fed government controlled by corporations go away. Let us take back our states and local areas. Go hemp. Eat hemp protein. Wear hemp. Revive this country. Buy local. This country was founded on dissent. Stay off the zombie boob tube television and listen to alternative radio and READ books America. Go USA

  • Let it GROW......HEMP is #1 for so many things. Think cellulose for fuel. Much easier crop for fuel than corn.

  • That was a brilliant protest

  • Hello? can we get real now? if we sell hemp products everywhere in the US and its perfectly legal - WHY can't we grow it here?

    GO HIA !!!!!!!!

  • Half the signers of the Declaration of Independence were Hemp Farmers. Hemp helped this country grow, this country needs to help hemp grow!

  • YES!!

Hemp was extremely important to helping develop this country. I bet the fore fathers are rolling over in their grave.

    Hemp being illegal? Worst.Idea.Ever

  • we need to grow hemp change the laws allow americans to grow hemp protest the dea and the fda

  • Well done to the protestors. I eat Hemp seeds with my meals so dont see why Industrial Hemp should be illegal or Cannabis for that matter but thats another issue.

When the Powers that be have figured out how they can control the Hemp, it will become legal.

  • The powers that be already control hemp by keeping it illegal. The bribe revenue paid to DEA agents and state officials in order to transport and distribute marijuana is too lucrative. Our best bet as a society is to gather enough people to plant hemp anywhere and everywhere. Once growth outpaces ability to destroy, we will see real and positive change. It's absurd the one plant that hasn't killed even one person is deemed more dangerous than pharmaceuticals, most of which are lethal.

  • laws are written for the fodder.

  • This is wonderfully done. Props to David Bronner....and Dr. Bronner Castile Soaps, Say yes to a self sustaining world!

  • Great Idea keep fighting for industrial hemp

  • Its true what he says, every other country grows it and makes products to sell to us. But yet "WE" cannot grow it ourselves and make our own products, some people wouldn't mind buying U.S.A Made Hemp Products. Think bout all the possibilities this plant has, not just products, medicine, bio-fuel, seed stock for birds/chickens, its really insane how they treat this issue. My respect goes out to these Gentlemen for Planting Hemp in the front Lawn of the DEA. Way to goooooo!

  • I totally support you. I think the laws concerning hemp is wrong and long overdue to be changed, however, that will only happen if everyone demands change!

Did you know that the sails on the large ships from long ago were made from hemp?

Hemp is the only thing that can save the world.

1% of the population control 99% of the people, and that has got to change.

Bless you for standing up for your beliefs!!

  • Part 2 We are the creators and therefore the masters - the sovereigns. Learn the difference between a citizen and a Citizen. The remedy is in the law not some bullshit media production/stunt. If they would stand up as the sovereign citizens they are and spend their time and resources and learn the law and apply it this would be a non-issue. Law as a Citizen is very basic. Do not infringe on the life, liberty and property of others and all is well.

  • Part 1 Hooray for what? A stunt pulled that was idiotic and of no problem solving value. It's amazing what people will do who have to be in the limelight. Don't get me wrong as I am totally on board with this issue. Why have we been reduced to begging big bro to let us sustain ourselves and live another day? What happened? Well we have forgotten who we are and the role of government.

  • Sorry brother but I think you're off point about how we get things done. We all have to find ways to make a change and if this one statement helps to open one persons eyes then that is enough and should be seen as a positive movement. We must educate those that only know what they system tells them and hope that we can make changes in whatever way we can work to do it. It's not about who is right and wrong in how they do it but its about doing it.

  • Dupont made hemp illegal. Now they make all their plastics over seas.

  • oooooohhhhh nooooo. They planted a seed!!!! Call in the infantry!!

  • YES!...hemp has tons of benefit. plus it will restore the quality of life.

  • Abolish the Dept of Energy, the DEA, and End the War on Drugs, and we will be way better off.

  • Govenment officials must be getting money for NOT LETTING US plant hemp here and also tap into our OWN OIL. It has to be all about money..what else????

  • The reason why the govenment wont allow hemp to be grown is the same reason they wont allow us to tap into our own oil resouces..Someone must be making big bucks for us NOT TO be growing hemp or getting our QWN oil...its always about MONEY..why else..??? there is no other reason i can see,

  • This is another reason why America is totally screwed.

  • The American government is so damned corrupt is what the problem is!

    America is sadly going down.

I salute each and every one of you who took part in this protest.

May God bless and keep you!

  • This government needs the wake up! Because the people finally have!!! Revolution is coming folks!!!!!!

  • These guys are Modern-day Heroes! I admire your courage and determination to free America in the simple way that every other country can grow this basic survival crop! Hemp is as American as apple pie! George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew hemp crops in early US history. What has happened to our basic human rights here??!

  • You six farmers are GREAT PATRIOTS and it is men like you who made this country strong. All of our rights are being infringed upon and if we don't stand up and speak out they will take all our freedoms away.

  • this country is upside down. good is bad and bad is good.

    what brave people

  • Prohibitions, especially foolish ones, never work. Let these farmers grow hemp, for God's sake!!!

  • Hemp is a wonderful source of nutrition, a potential biofuel and extremely versatile in textile uses.

It also draws nutrients to the surface from deeper soil and is nitrogen fixing, great for replenishing overfarmed and dead soil.

  • STANDING OVATION X2!!!!!!

You guys are the best! And what audacity (in a good way!) ... if only we all had the testicular fortitude to make such a stand. I'm so proud!

  • There is something so sexy about being arrested for patriotism.

  • If ROPE is legal, then growing the hemp for it should also be legal.

  • i love my hemp yoga cloths please let us grow it wonderful cloths

  • Its sad china and the rest of the world have more freedoms than we do--and there not bankrupt--something is wrong with this picture, its like they are trying to collapes us and make our lives difficult.

  • Ya think? that is exactly what they are trying to do... unfortunately.

  • Simply LOVE the name "CEDAR CIRCLE FARM" ~ long live Anastasia & her ringing cedars!

    South Africa

  • I Though cops were suppose to serve and protect, the people, not the government!

  • You forgot to mention the economic role of DuPont and Dow Chemical in this issue; how they directly and indirectly control the production of hemp. Hemp would compete with artificial fibers and materials such as rayon and polyester, which would allow regular folks to compete with big textile industry - we just can't have that in the good ol USA. This issue is not about drugs or THC, it's about control of the money flow.

  • Presently, the U.S. government considers the growing of industrial hemp to be a felony crime. But with farmers desperately needing profitable crops -- and with hemp products being imported from Canada, China and other countries -- it only makes sense to de-criminalize industrial hemp in the USA and let farmers grow it locally.

  • how boring is your life when you decide it would be interesting to spend a day in the DEA Museum?

  • Nice, Aktion!

    5*****

    Legalize

  • Hemp, hemp hooray!!! Those are nice shovels I hope they didn't confiscate them...

  • george washington would be so proud

  • The cotton lobby is too powerful... for now.

One could support hemp by not buying cotton products.

  • Boycott synthetic materials you mean ! They are worse... mind u cotton is full of pesticides and needs to be organic to be safe..

Organic Hemp is the way forward - this is the most versatile, powerful plant for all its clothing and material uses plus its a super food - as its nutritional and medicinal value is off the scale,, it truly is a miracle plant ....

  • Good Point :)

  • The facts indicate that the DEA is retarded. Christ....

  • Obama, Where are you?

  • Obama is not going to do anything unless we the people demand that hemp be aloud to be grown for industrial purposes.

  • Obama is owned by the oil companies and he isn't going to do anything about this.

  • Let me get this straight...hemp products are legal, but growing hemp is illegal? That makes no sense whatsoever. Industrial hemp is legal to grow in every industrialized nation in the world except the USA. Thank you, DEA, for contributing to America's trade deficit by forcing us to import hemp, and for making our farmers that much poorer.

Are the bureaucrats at the DEA simply ignorant of the facts, or are they too stupid to figure it out? Either way, those people need to loose their jobs.

  • fossil oil, my friend, it is hemp's largest enemy. although this problem is much simpler than my usual illuminati rants, it is routed with the same power-hungry, fear mongering bastards. industrial hemp can clean our air more effeciently than the trees we are also so actively shitting on, it can provide rediculously strong textiles and durable clothing, all with a fast re-grow rate. where is the crime? then again, ask yourself: what IS crime?

  • Unfortunately, my computer has no sound right now. I get the gist of it though and have to say, BRAVO! A job well done! You all are brave freedom fighters. Thank you for taking a stand.

We all have to do what we can do when we can do it, each working in our own ways to get hemp growing again in this country.

I will do what I can.

  • the 1st thing "they" always ask is "who's in charge here?"

... the so called authorities need to start recognizing the Authority of the people. No ONE is in charge because we are all in charge.

  • Thank you so much to the Protesters!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol thats a first..??!! arrested for planting seeds... Great

  • A first? They have been arresting folks for planting cannabis seeds for years now.

  • Not on the DEA front lawn.

  • Growing hemp is just plain common sense, therefore the last thing our government will allow. Thank you from one farmer to another for taking a stand to hopefully help us all.

  • And wow, what a good use of law enforcement personnel...

  • Pathetic DEA... just pathetic.

Thank you DEA for being a bunch of ignorant bunch of clowns.

The only time a DEA official "lightens up" is when they sit back and drink down a couple of Manhattans.

  • I give you guys full credit for your activism, though I have to wonder if this was the most productive way of going about it. After all, it is not the job of DEA agents to think about the law or to change the law--they don't get paid to think. Their job is simply to enforce the law as it exists. A better idea might have been to plant hemp seeds on the grounds in front of Capital Hill. That's where the hemp laws are made and changed. Change the minds of voters and lawmakers and DEA will follow.

  • DEA has actively opposed hemp farming by testifying against it in numerous hearings. The DEA could allow states to implement hemp laws with a simple policy change. Hemp has no drug potential and therefore DEA has no real interest in continuing to stand in the way.
