hey bro don't put tape on your fittings the air will not let the air go as smooth as it normally would look at my videos and i had tape on mine to and i took off my tape and replaced both of the fittings and haven't had a leak since then but 2 great upgrades are the techt bolt and 2 new fittings will shoot cleaner better and overall better gameplay

Tighten the macro line or your reg is blown and you need a new one...

@shanesboard It is usually the fittings. Sometimes if the line is too long or not cut cleanly it can be the line but usually the fitting not grabbing the lines tightly all the way around. There are barbs inside the macro fittings that grab hold of the line and maybe one is bad, therefore the leak. That is why on my guns I play with, I use steel braided line, NEVER A LEAK!!! Then when time to sell, I swap it back out for looks...... ;-)

I dont see why you people keep the whole DP air system. I put a PE OOPS ASA on mine changed out macroline, then i have a shocktech reg and a hyper 2 reg for my g4 no problems no leaks and ive found that the best lube to use is eclipse grese ive never had the bolt stick in my whole paintball career with eclipse grease. and if ur that unlucky one who got the crappy G4 with constent bolt stick change out all the O-rings and put the ABS on highest setting i think its three.

I'm thinking all you did was muffel the hissing sound with the tape, to the point that you think it dose not his... E-Tape is not at all air tight :(

i had the same problem try taking out macroline and putting back in then see if it leaks cause i had same poblem and another thing if it doesnt shoot then try lubing up the bolt and then see wat happends

There's 350 to 850psi on the macroline (depending on your bottle reg), tape will never hold this back (try putting yout thumb on the disconnected macro while gasing up the gun). Maybe you just can't hear the leak any more.

@QUiiKSCOPeRZz17 check the psi your gun is supposed to operate at, and then the psi on your tank, if its too high or low on your tank it wont shoot, also take your bolt out, it could be stuck, try thinner lube.

@QUiiKSCOPeRZz17 it it very likely bolt stick. take out the bolt, clean the breach(where the bolt was) remove the lube from the bolt, relube the orings in the breach, relube the bolt(not too much) and fire away.

This sounds absolutely retarded, but take your macroline and shove it really hard into to fitting. My macroline slid in, and i actually played with it for a while, and it would occasionally leak by the fitting, and I was just messing around with the macroline and i realized it went half an inch further into the fitting. And no more leak!!!

Why did you tape it dude.... Go to ans gear website, buy new macroline. Cut it on a 90 Degree Angle. Your set.

@chasefilming Don't cut the macroline on a 90 degree angle!!!. The inside of the 90 degree fitting does not have a 90 degree inside. Its just called 90 degree because it turns 90 degrees from the reg fitting. Dunce.
