  • 9 people only listend to the beginning

  • 9 people need to gtfo into another dimension...

  • Haha i think i know why no one was screaming when he asked ''You feeling good, Sydney?'' It was because he was in London not Australia XD But Wolmother is a great band and this is one of my favorite songs :)

  • AWESOME MUSIC :)

  • 1:19 to 1:42= BLACK SABBATH spirit!

  • That was an absolutely awesome era of the band!!!

MILES WAS KILLER DRUMMER !!! AND ANDREW WAS DAMN COOL !!! Gosh...what a fantastic debut album & tour! But times are changing :(((

  • i love woflmother, but theyre only a so-so live band. I heard them perform pilgrim (my favorite song) live one time and i wanted to cut myself, stockdale was so outta tune. But here they sound so much more confident here than at JTV

  • @stradscreamer74 they vary, man. sometimes stockdale is pretty damn solid, and other times his guitar playing and singing is just meh. much like a certain eric clapton...

  • man....i wish i lived in australia

  • I love these guys....

  • AUSSIE ROCK ....RULES ONCE AGAIN MUTHERFUCKERS!!!

  • These are the good songs

  • sick!!

  • WOOOOHHHHUUHHHOOOOOW

    WOLFMOTHER!!

    rockn roll!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wolfmother is a exelent band, miss the old lineup

  • fuck, theyr great, saw 'em live like 2 weeks ago in cph, fucking amazing! xD

  • saw them live at the leeds 02 a few weeks ago, absolutly amazing :)

  • i think he sounds quite like the guy from mars volta in a way

  • what a great song o.O

    what a great band ö.<

  • I am sick of music elitists, as i was sick of the howard government, vomiting now!

  • Wolfmother is back! i love that they are and cant wait to get their new album, but besides vocals, i think the bassist/keyboardist deserves sum credit for their awesomeness too cuz that soloish bridge was pretty awesome

  • he sounded great when i heard them a couple weeks ago, really really great

  • These guys are m favorite chick friendly band... I love everything about them, but Andrew Stockdale can't hit his notes that I love so much consistently live... reminds me of fat Chino when he was really bloating before Chi went into a coma... he has lost the weight, but he used to lose his voice a lot... Andrew is a great performer, but his vocals do not hold up... listen to when he says "purple haze is in the sky..."

  • Wolfmother fucking rules!!!!

  • releasing a new album mid october?

i heard the album is called cosmic egg.

all new members other than andrew stockdale,

listen to 'back round' and it'll show you wolfmother r back with style!

  • They've taken the simply catchy rhythms of modern indie/pop/rock (I hate picking genres) and melded it with the raw genius of the best of classic hard rock. More than anything his vocals are what really grab me, they make me sit up and pay attention.

  • holy fuck... Wolfmother fucking rulez.... im tripping out man.... ain't felt this way since last time i got stoned and listened to hendrix

  • wow are you fucking serious?

  • best WOLFMOTHER music YEAHHHH

  • yeah, they're coming back

  • is this band still together or are there different members now

  • wolfmother sounds like kyuss

  • tear down your idols.........wolfmother is back baby

  • Ya Good Songs

  • one of the best live bands ever! Can't wait to see them live again. I know there here in L.A> somewhere recording right now. Can't wait to see the new members preform live with Andrew!

I hear they play under a different name sometimes. Can someone tell me when and where they preform a test gig hear in L.A?

  • wolfmother ftw

  • ya know that thing andrew started at 3:10,

what is that called or how do you do it?

  • FLATOUT FTW!

  • this isnt in london!!! at 4.08 he shouts "you feelin good sydney"

    fail

  • not much difference between the studio version and this

    AWSOME!

  • What would be bad with a band becoming huge that sounded similar to LZ? I'll tell you. Absolutely nothing. If anything it would be remarkable if they could capture the energy and sound to produce new and unique music that pays homage to such rock legends.

  • el video tine baja calidad, pero la musica es increiblemente buena!!!

  • I dont think its so much because they SOUND like Zeppelin. Its more that they are almost claiming to be BETTER than Zeppelin.

They took too many risks, it was only their first album (Drinking on stage, trashing the stage, not singing the same way as the studio track, giving the finger to their audiences, claiming that they TOO were gods of rock)

  • Anyone can be a god of rock, there's far too many of them for it to mean anything anymore.

To be truly supreme, one must transcend all things rock.

  • How is "not singing the same way as the studio track" a risk? If anything, it's being bold and changing up the material. Hell, John Paul Jones said that's one of the best things a band can do is to give a different interpretation of the song every show.

  • I'm sorry, I'll rephrase what I was meaning to say.

Im aware that singing differently is a positive, what I didn't mention was HOW you sing differently. If your going to hold a vocal note, hold it, dont make every chance you get, a 'sheep sounding' vibrato. It doesnt do him any favours

  • Dude, that is Andrew Stockdale, he does that on the album itself too.

And even if he does that, he's still not claiming to be the god of rock.

  • Not sure why your telling me this Henkdemelkman. If I commented this, it was over 4 months ago and I probly don't care anymore..

  • I know what you mean. Who would want to hear them sound exactly the same

  • Well they are the gods for our age of bands

  • trust me, when you are playing the same song every night for a year and a half, you are going to change things up, if you dont you will quit playing music all together.

  • i like these guys

even if they r like zeppelin....is that a bad thing?

  • this rocks!!!!! i dont know why people dont like them

  • people dont like them because they think they sound to much like led zeppelin

and i can see where they are coming from but i how ever like them both and am not of the opinion that they are trying to be the new zeppelin

  • I hope the new bassist used a Ric also..

  • such a shame the line-up is not the same anymore

  • myles' drumming reminds me of mitch mitchell in this song. theyre such a great band

  • mitch plays way more fills though

  • i love this song when it's live.

  • That Rickenbacker-tone is so freakin' beautiful

  • it sounds like the 70s and thats exactly why its worth it.real rock!!!

  • his not even the reel voice of AC/DC Bon Scott will always be the voic of AC/DC. just listen to overdose ore let there be rock and you will se what i meen.

  • Or Kicked in the Teeth from the Powerage album, awesome vocal performance on that one. In a totally different league to Brian Johnson.

  • they sound soo much like zeppelin

  • lol i like the way he changes "and i found myself alone" to in london

  • omg i wish i was there!

  • Damn, he needs to tour with that Rickenbacker. Damn, I love them so much I'd fuck it if the input was big enough.

  • they rock

    old-skool style..

instantly loved this tune when heard it on "Scoundrels" movie

  • are you sure this is london, it sounded like he said "you feelin good sydney?"

  • ah nevermind it must have been a mistake, says the traditional found myself in london

  • old or new... doesnt matter... they roooooooock

    jackyd2001 aKa B_lorenzFactor

  • He is taking back the Gibson SG from the metal emo junkies. the world needs real rock guitarists like him. one of few.

  • They've got a real 70s groove, which is kinda cool.

  • thank god they sound like the old bands .. this is supposed to be a good thing :)

  • 'you feeling good sydney?'

    lol

and ye they sound a bit like zeppelin but there amazing

  • how rock n roll should sound for ever...

  • hands down i agree with all of you, the zepplin, pinkfloyd sabbath thing really does work for them, and yea, who does give a shit if they have a similar sound to the greats! its better than those emo shit greens days out there! GO WOLFMOTHER!

  • agree :p is it wrong to dust up the old groove sound? no. :p

  • I'm sick o' ppl sayin Wolfmother is just like zepp or sabbath...sure they're remanicent, but they're not just like any one, they are just like Wolfmother.

  • i LOVE THE GUITAR!!!

  • hey, at least there's one band that bucks the trend of emocrap/rapshit copycats out there where it's almost impossible to get your own sound. And even if the guitarist sings like the guy from AC/DC, and writes riffs like angus young, is that a bad thing? Are they automatically losers for wanting to bring back the classic rock movement and in effect getting a sound that (saying that most people don't listen to AC/DC) is their own in this modern musicscape? I don't think so...

  • bring back the old school! back to the roots!

  • You're saying Brian Johnson (aka The Guy From AC/DC) SINGS? Have you HEARD AC/DC? The man sounds like he has sandpaper for a voicebox, then gargles with sulphuric acid. He's an embarrasment. This guy's voice sounds, to me at least, closer to Robert Plant. And it is possible to get your own sound in rap. Listen to Dr. Dre for proof of this.

  • love the freekin drums

  • umm black sabbath, led zeppelin... fuck do I ever hate when people say that. They sound like old school raw rock n roll. Who gives a shit if they have a similar sound to that of zeppelin or sabbath? I'd rather listen to a band that has some creativity like this than some fuckin shred metal emo goth death whiny bullshit that is spewed out over and over again these days.

  • well said my good man

  • Im going to see them at summerfest

  • They kicked ass, man.

  • You whent?! They were Fucking amazing!!! Best concert i've ever been to.. hands down!

  • My friend told me that he saw a Wolfmother concert on On-Demand once and it really sucked. He said that the singer couldn't sing at all and that they probably modify his voice on the album. My friend is a jackass. I'm going to punch him.

  • saw them at Lollapalooza last year! they autographed my flag!

  • this song is awesome and so is this band!!

  • umm... black sabbath...

  • Very good song.. saw it live, sounds pretty good.

  • They need to watch their tempo...haha

  • I'd say this is a non-psychedelic version of The Mars Volta... this song is so sticky!! xD

  • I'd agree, but even though their music is good, it doesn't seem to "Go There" like ATD-I Or TMV.

  • Floyd + Zeppelin = The Mars Volta

Zeppelin + The White Stripes + TMV's voice = Wolfmother

  • Still the best gig I've ever seen, long live WOLFMOTHER!!

  • F' yes

  • wicked song!

  • andrew stockdale the king of new guitartist

  • Excellent. These guys (hopefully) will be around for a very long time. Thanks for posting. :)
