Problem is that a good music dj is busy mixing 3 decks together and manipulating the mixer and audio fx, so not a lot of time left to mix video imo.

Hire a specialized vj, they deserve respect.

you shoukd all take a look at jitter programming its a really easy and really cheap way of mixing video you can create your own sliders etc connect it to a midi and a camera and you basicall have the same thing

The skys the limit with that a/v mixer I seen it in action before last year and I would have to say it is the coolest a/v mixer I have ever seen, there is soooo much options on it!!

I don't have it, god way too expensive...

but I have worked with it and it is 4-channel.

i saw armin van buuren using this equipment for 35,000 people in LA. it was massive show with awsome video what an amazing technology, and it comes long way towards its beginnings 110 years ago.

Fantastic piece of technology, with a fantastic price tag. Not only must you have the mixer, but also the DVJ's to play the DVD's on. £10,000 to mix video and audio at the same time, not ready to make an investment like that just yet.

You don't need a mixer to show a live video of the dj. Just connect the camera with your screen or video projector.

Take a look at the Numark NuVJ system, which is a computer software program and a dedicated USB controller.

If you want hardware then check out stuff by Edirol such as the V4 and V8 video mixers.
