He just had to buy a new motor his locked up with 10,000 miles on it I know a kid that hit a pole doin at least 55 with his Chevy. He backed up drive down the road and flipped it. If there a pile of shit how could he hit a pole dead center of his truck and break the pole and still drive it. Explain that to me
@mrstrictlygm i had two chevys,i do agree with you on chevys.both of mine were very dependable as long as i could keep them out of the shop long enough to get the job done.both of them were heavy duty pick-ups both were 1 tons.i used them for pulling a 16 foot flat bed trailer with 5 tons of stell.50 miles one way.my first chevy had a 454 in it.it would keep its own oil changed,6 quarts in 50 miles.my other chevy had a 350 in it.it kept its oil changed it too.
@mrstrictlygm my 1 ton chevy with 350 in it,i was changing the spark plugs every 300 to 500 miles because they were so oil fouled.one day my friend let me use his ford to haul my steel.then i found out that i was using junk to haul the steel.i then run my 2 chevys across the scales and i sold them for scrap price and i bought my ford.i have been using the same ford for 40 years now.this ford has a 300 6 cylinder 3/4 ton.and it was made in 1975.

The Cavalier must've been a good one. It wasn't listed in this video and I've had almost no trouble at all with mine. It's a 2003 with 143,000 miles and all that's been replaced is the fuel pump, battery, steering rack, and tie rods.

my chevy has 285,000miles on it and runs perfectly, has a meat locker a/c unit, and can still beat a ford in any aspect. speed, looks (opinionated), reliabilty, and all around comfort. plus, ive never been stuck on the side of the road... ever. this guy is retarded.

I think most people think they don't have to check the oil or belts or hoses or anything until something goes wrong then they blame the car manufacturer. Yeah different vehicles are made with different parts and some are better than others but it don't change anything. Parts are going to go out sometime.

@THEACDC1995 I would of never thought that the fiesta would be. But once everything is a fixed it will be a good vehicle. We got '94 explorer, my '95 f150, '99 f350, '99 intrigue, and the '05 yukon xl. all of them are good running vehicles. The explorer had a replacement trans and a bunch of other stuff, new valve covers, thermostats, etc. still runs good though. My pickup has had new front coils but thats it. Leaks a little of everything but hardly. We've had good luck with our vehicles

My dads is a 95 with the 4.3 it has 180,000 and still runs like a new one. I have no idea about the 4 cylinder ones because I have never been been around any . What motor was in your friends trucks? @VIEW8472 My brother had a ford explorer with the 4 liter v6, and he came over to replace SPARK PLUGS, and could only replace 4 of them because he couldn't get to the other 2, so he had to drive home on two bad plugs and have it taken to a shop to replace the others. On the other hand, my dads 96 Sierra 1500 just went over 150,000 miles and had to have the water pump replaced because of old rubber seals, and that's the only problem with the truck other than rust from NOT MAINTAINING PAINT JOB!!!
how bout the 96 expedition vs the 96 tahoe. tahoe had more hp and torque with 255/330 while the ford had 225/325. tahoe had more ground clearance and a lower roof clearance. tahoe was a whole second quicker in the quartermile. the only thing ford had against it was their rear hatch vs chevys barn doors so the chevy didnt have a rear wiper. wat motor trend didnt say about the chevy was that you can get a tailgate and hatch on a tahoe = rear wiper.. hehe :p

I've had many problems with ford like last year hunting my buddy wanted to drive his ford to our hunting ground and by the time we left town the stupid ass truck broke down and wouldn't start at all we tried everything to fix it but it's fucking impossible (just like you ass hole) and the repair shop made him wait 3 weeks to get the truck in the shop because he was overloaded with other fords (understandable being shit ass trucks and all) and we had to drive my chevy all the way up there and gu

Never had a problem with a Ford, only problem with a Dodge we had was its trans, and that was it, my dad has 2 2500s, the 6.0 gets 13 mpg, has a rusty frame and it's only 6 years old, the cd player is broke has the break problems, and door doesnt shut good, only thing better about the duramax is it gets better mpgs, 5 more gallons, my f150 is awesome, i just wish it had a cd player, lol but its 12 years old, my papa's dodge has a smaller diesel engine and will outpull em both...

I totaly agree. I have owned several chevys because I like the way they look. I am particularly disapointed with two trucks I owned. One had head gastet problems, I had it fixed and happened again. Bad ingeneering. The other one had torque converter problems. same thing, fix it and it happened again. I traded them both in before spending another dime. The last one I traded for a Toyota. I will never buy another Chevy. Not that anyone cares. Those assholes only want our money.
If the motor were around 12.5:1 or more it would prolly be around 700 hp but chevy opted to have a reliable pump gas motor. And im glad, you dont like chevy. How did GM get away with filling bankruptcy when they received the BILLIONS from the tax payer bailout? What a sham! I thought the bailout was to prevent a bankruptcy I don't even think they needed the money to begin with! I feel GM's greed took the American people and our government for fools! And we won't ever get our tax dollars back. It makes me sick to hear how much there white collar employees are getting in bonuses when they still owe the tax payers billions!

@ royearlbanister. My truck is a 78. It runs perfect my friend has a Chevy from the 60s it runs fine. My friend has a 78 bronco. He just had to buy a new motor his locked up with 10,000 miles on it I know a kid that hit a pole doin at least 55 with his Chevy. He backed up drive down the road and flipped it. If there a pile of shit how could he hit a pole dead center of his truck and break the pole and still drive it. Explain that to me

@mrstrictlygm i had two chevys,i do agree with you on chevys.both of mine were very dependable as long as i could keep them out of the shop long enough to get the job done.both of them were heavy duty pick-ups both were 1 tons.i used them for pulling a 16 foot flat bed trailer with 5 tons of stell.50 miles one way.my first chevy had a 454 in it.it would keep its own oil changed,6 quarts in 50 miles.my other chevy had a 350 in it.it kept its oil changed it too.

@mrstrictlygm my 1 ton chevy with 350 in it,i was changing the spark plugs every 300 to 500 miles because they were so oil fouled.one day my friend let me use his ford to haul my steel.then i found out that i was using junk to haul the steel.i then run my 2 chevys across the scales and i sold them for scrap price and i bought my ford.i have been using the same ford for 40 years now.this ford has a 300 6 cylinder 3/4 ton.and it was made in 1975.

The Cavalier must've been a good one. It wasn't listed in this video and I've had almost no trouble at all with mine. It's a 2003 with 143,000 miles and all that's been replaced is the fuel pump, battery, steering rack, and tie rods.

my chevy has 285,000miles on it and runs perfectly, has a meat locker a/c unit, and can still beat a ford in any aspect. speed, looks (opinionated), reliabilty, and all around comfort. plus, ive never been stuck on the side of the road... ever. this guy is retarded.

@1911harbinger yeah its all about maintaining your vehicle and not beating the piss out of it. I'm all for ford, but any vehicle can go as long as you want it to with proper care. I think most people think they don't have to check the oil or belts or hoses or anything until something goes wrong then they blame the car manufacturer. Yeah different vehicles are made with different parts and some are better than others but it don't change anything. Parts are going to go out sometime.

@THEACDC1995 I would of never thought that the fiesta would be. But once everything is a fixed it will be a good vehicle. We got '94 explorer, my '95 f150, '99 f350, '99 intrigue, and the '05 yukon xl. all of them are good running vehicles. The explorer had a replacement trans and a bunch of other stuff, new valve covers, thermostats, etc. still runs good though. My pickup has had new front coils but thats it. Leaks a little of everything but hardly. We've had good luck with our vehicles

My dads is a 95 with the 4.3 it has 180,000 and still runs like a new one. I have no idea about the 4 cylinder ones because I have never been been around any . What motor was in your friends trucks? The funny thing is S10's sell faster than any other small used truck around here. ProbablybecauseToyotasare way overpriced and have a crappy looking interior in my opinion.

@VIEW8472 My brother had a ford explorer with the 4 liter v6, and he came over to replace SPARK PLUGS, and could only replace 4 of them because he couldn't get to the other 2, so he had to drive home on two bad plugs and have it taken to a shop to replace the others. On the other hand, my dads 96 Sierra 1500 just went over 150,000 miles and had to have the water pump replaced because of old rubber seals, and that's the only problem with the truck other than rust from NOT MAINTAINING PAINT JOB!!!

how bout the 96 expedition vs the 96 tahoe. tahoe had more hp and torque with 255/330 while the ford had 225/325. tahoe had more ground clearance and a lower roof clearance. tahoe was a whole second quicker in the quartermile. the only thing ford had against it was their rear hatch vs chevys barn doors so the chevy didnt have a rear wiper. wat motor trend didnt say about the chevy was that you can get a tailgate and hatch on a tahoe = rear wiper.. hehe :p

The only reason rich people buy fords is that they don't mind buying a new one at the end of the one year warranty when it rusts out from fords bullshit hitting it head on.

This is bullshit the only reason you will see a chevy on the side of the road is because it's pulling a hunk of shit ford out of the ditch! (F=found O=on R=road D=dead ford) or the reason is that the dump it too full of fords to let the Chevys in (not that they need to be scraped) And you're rust problem is that chevy has the strength to hold it self up when rusty try keeping a ford up when it's rusty, it just doesn't work. Chevy volt (not favorite) is the best electric/gas car on the road yet.

Never had a problem with a Ford, only problem with a Dodge we had was its trans, and that was it, my dad has 2 2500s, the 6.0 gets 13 mpg, has a rusty frame and it's only 6 years old, the cd player is broke has the break problems, and door doesnt shut good, only thing better about the duramax is it gets better mpgs, 5 more gallons, my f150 is awesome, i just wish it had a cd player, lol but its 12 years old, my papa's dodge has a smaller diesel engine and will outpull em both...

@bigbadmucus i have a 1985 f-350. it is my everyday ride. in the 17 years i have owned it, it has been towed once, and that is because the clutch fork broke. and your right. there are many chevys on the road. because only a few actually made it home. and if the mexican silverado is so great, why are they not selling the way ford trucks are?

I totaly agree. I have owned several chevys because I like the way they look. I am particularly disapointed with two trucks I owned. One had head gastet problems, I had it fixed and happened again. Bad ingeneering. The other one had torque converter problems. same thing, fix it and it happened again. I traded them both in before spending another dime. The last one I traded for a Toyota. I will never buy another Chevy. Not that anyone cares. Those assholes only want our money.

If the motor were around 12.5:1 or more it would prolly be around 700 hp but chevy opted to have a reliable pump gas motor. And im glad, you dont like chevy.
