I think Brian Williams must have been on assignment. (My vote for most perfect man alive) He did say a good-bye to Meredith earlier in the show. GREAT rendition but I think they stole the idea from Mary Hart's farewell show of Raise Your Glass by Pink. Regardless, I loved the Journey song and all the guest appearances. I think Lester was superb; one of my favorites. Way to go!!!

@kimberlywelsch1980 Well the little Karaoke singer was selected off YT here. He was in a Tribute band...covering other bands as well as Journey. He was picked off YT by Neal Schon of Journey BECAUSE he sounded like Steve Perry. So he was choosen because he IS a little Karaoke singer!!!!!

it was epic! now i know how the set connects with the rest of the studio inside..i always see the area Hoda and Kathie Lee were coming out from but not the stairs and the stairs within the building which leads to where the beginning..all in all it was fitting sendoff! props to Jimmy Fallon making a cameo too!
