I was in a fraternity in college, and it was one of the best things I ever did. As far as hazing goes, it really depends what it is and why it's being done. Dumping booze down a pledge's throat or doing homo-erotic shit doesn't build character or make a positive impact in any way. It's stupid. There certainly are ways to do things which are considered hazing without being embarrassing or dangerous. What the Freemasons do would be considered hazing.

This is not a greek life problem, its an American society problem. While "alcohol hazing" is certainly dangerous and should never be used, young people die all the time from alcohol abuse and only a small percentage do so in a greek environment. The fact that this country has a drinking problem is just placed on the only organized group that people can associate it with and put plame on - the Greek community.

I am in a sorority and I am not a typical stereotypical sorority girl, Im full native american and I'm not a rich kid. In our greek community we have no tolerance for hazing. This video puts the blame on fraternities and sororities, when this isnt the only time people are hazed or die from alcoholism.
