@becoming29 can i ask you something keep in mind i spent alot of money and time trying to build one of these maybe you could pls tell me what im doing wrong. i have a 10 plate system and i put that into a closed container then out of that into a bubbler. what i wanted to ask is, am getting it to bubble not cant get the bullbes to inginte i got it on a 12v power feed and im using distilled water with a little baking soda
sorry for dub. post but, when knowing your HHO supply is gonna go out limit the valve down some, the flame size might drop but it still burns at the same heat
I put this video up over a year ago. Since then, my company has made dramatic improvements in HHO production and design. Thanks for your comment though.
you need to seperate the H and the o so you can adjust them seperatly, I think. Also how mutch power are you putting into that cell? It bubbles pretty nice. You ad salt or anything to the water?
this is too cool, had seen it on another video here on Youtube, about a guy who invented this that was on the news, but didn't know if anyone had made their own home-made version!!! very cool!
honestly man lots of us have, but only a few of use have built torches and made effective devices. The guy you probably saw on the news was Denny Klein, he didn't "invent" anything...although he likes to claim such things by trying to patent his "aquygen" or whatever he calls it. I've spoken extensively with the Kleins, and there is no difference between what he's doing, and what we're doing. Producing HHO...the same way...electrolysis. Get involved and tell everyone. :D
If you are using baking soda as an electrolyte a lot of your gas is innert co2. I did the same thing before I knew this. it does help provide a lot of driving pressure.
How do you isolate the + and - contacts on the plates? When you use a rubber insulator how do you maintain the distance between the plates in that part of the stack?
we use plastic screws, with 1/8" thick nylon washers to hold the plates together. The + and - are on opposite sides of each. All plates are notched on one side, so we just invert them, facing two directions. this allows us to use one screw on each side, as a positive and a negative. really pretty simple set up.
By non-chemical, i meant that we aren't using specific chemicals to make that reaction, such as an exothermic reaction without an outside source of heat for ignition. Oxygen is needed to feed the fire, not just hydrogen. Also, we are using baking soda in this instance as an electrolyte.
device?Or do i always have to make something myself?I guess you know more about this subject...thanx! or maybee put several small cells, and several drillpwm`s thogether?so they don`t heat up?
Its refreshing to see you run your torch without having to choke it like this evenings meal ... LOL ...
If you go a series setup (neutral plates), you get into the tricky arena of having to try to seal up your plate edges. Typically, the neutral plate arrangement works best when you are building medium to large scale.
D3's suggestion of multiple, small, parallel cells wired in series works quite well and is simpler to assemble. A series cell is another level of complexity.
and yes tapping out that soft ass aluminium can be a pain, you have to do a half turn and back it up, another half turn, and back it up, and so on. But when harbor sells those for 1.59 I couldn't pass it up, as compared to about 7 bucks for all the brass. But the brass is a better material by far. I am glad to see what your doing, which was the point of the torch, give people an easy way to get into this stuff. A+ job man, keep going
running a parallel cell on 12v isn't very eff. build two or better three cells (just like you have) and wire them in series, it will increase your eff. instead of 2LPM @ 12v and around 100amps, like you have now, it will be 2LPM @12v and about 50amps. which means you get the same gas for half the power.
Right on man. The same pencil torch here in Denver cost $5.99 and I had some brass fittings already. I was thinking about the same spacing, but using neutral plates instead of +-+-+-, i'd go +n- or even +nnn- configurations. This should get the amps down but I need to produce some more plates.
looks like you need a gas dryer, the flame looks very yellow, a dry flame will burn blue.

In March of 2008, yes.

impressive, producing a good amount of hho there.

If you control the amount of O2 that is being enters then you will have better control and better tip would also be recommended.

are you using a sodium based electrolyte?

see if you can make that torch heat water to steam and run a steam generator for electricity and try work out the loss you get

I bought the F-16 Pulse King, you are not kidding about this thing, Thanks
hho1junkie 3 years ago
You can use the torch tip from Home Depot
If you get an F-16 Pulse King on ebay it will produce monotomic hydrogen and will supercharge your HHO cell

Does the electrolyte salts make the flame yellow white? Because hydrogen burns clear-blue. Thank you.
Ben.
BasementBen 3 years ago
You aren't just burning hydrogen, you're burning oxygen too, which gives off the yellow as in most non-chemical flames.

wet

that is truly amazing, i already made an hho generator and i just have to try this.. where did you get the torch pieces from??

I actually can sell you one if you want. I have two. $50 + $15 shipping USPS...$65 total shipped, paid via paypal

thanx,very interesting!!But does that pulse?
To lower amps,i`m building something to fit in my car.Lowering amps would convince so much stubborn people into using hho...
By the way,in your video,in the back,is that a screwed open cordless drill??you already tried,i guess,greetzzz...
keep it up..

sure, get the power converter out of an old desktop computer.

i don`t know if you allready know, just trying to spread the info, but it seems you can find a 12volt pwm circuit,in a 12volt cordless drill!!!
for 25$ a pulse width modulator+free battery and a motor,LOL!!!!!

why not use an a/c current instead of a battery?

so the current can be controlled. i haven't tried using AC, but i've electrified tap water before and it never created gas. ;)
