I thought MRIs are just pictures. How did you get a video?

yes I know that but there are 24 or 29.97(30) frames per second so that makes a whole lot of pics. How many did you need to create 1 of the loops?

@Kindred1a1 Yea I was just toyin' with you :) But a friend made it from individual images I had put on my flickr. I think it was an animated GIF at some point.... And it may be at a lower framerate too...

@Kindred1a1 I think he used the animate.exe that comes with ImageMagick - it lets you, via command-line, animate a sequence of images into an animated GIF. I think I probably used VirtuaDub or Adboe Premiere to turn that GIF into an AVI video...

ironically, this song is the soundtrack of an episode of The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy, a cartoon on Cartoon Network. Of course, the song is a real song, on Voltaire's album, he plays it live, I just saw it live last weekend :)

There was only so much to work with. We got the MRI, I put it in a format where it could go over the internet and still work despite its DRM, my friend Dave O animated the images, then I took those and put them in virtualdub as a video...

Only after the video was done, was audio even considered.

So, at the end, we had 30 seconds. I had to take the song and try to fit it in. I think I did a damn good job capturing most of the important parts of the song in a way that kind of went with the video -- which I already had.
