Hi ! Now, a Parker, are you a Guitar's seller ? This song is too "modern Jazz" for me, it's the one that I less prefer, but I can recognize when a song is well played or no, even if I don't really like the song. That's why I've rated it as usual, for the way you perform it. What? His tone was very good, the distortion he is using fuzzys the quality of it out a bit.

I also would not use distortion but that's just my interpretation of the music.

my ears tell me horrible tone, no harmonics, needless modulation, distant fake reverb and over-processed distortion...yuck, puke, barf.

the shame is this same YouTube would be absolutely georgeous if he slung an L5 in front of a vintage tweed twin or something along those lines. This gritty dirty tone modulation fucks it up for me...my taste, sorry if you disagree...but that's just me...I think his style, though, is extreme bad ass.

IMHO, the distortion tone is irrelevant. I think the flanging/chorus effect really suits the character of this song and the flanger(?) is what makes the tone great.

@cattleprods911 it's definitely more of a fusion-esque tone. I try to not judge an artist's performance based on their tone of choice. Unless it's objectively bad, which this isn't, I just take in what they're playing.
