  • тут три дня мучался научился одним пальцем мурку играть а тут такое))))

  • how can you see, she's very slow playing the piano, she's ugly, she isn't slim, she's the worst pianist in this world ! - 19 people.

I want to believe that people who click on the dislike button , do that because they are wrong or because they want to be different.

  • @aimf1998 the people that disliked this didnt like it

  • AWESOMESAUCE

  • she moves like a mother pukin demond

  • This might be a dumb question, but are these tunes based on tunes by Mozart?

  • @DropDeadModest good question. This particular piece does sound very Mozart-like for Chopin. You should Google that :P

  • @DropDeadModest yes, on an aria from Don Giovanni called La Ci Darem Le mano.

  • @Lity10 duet

  • i think she can play the circus gallop :)

  • We should have to pay to see this absolutely amazing human being play like she does. So precise, yet with so much emotion. It would be an honor for me to just get to talk to you, much less see you play. Play on. Play. On.

  • @MidnightRubberDucky Agreed! She plays with perfect precision, yet, also with deep emotion. .I know of no other musician such as her, at all. What an incredible gift!

  • AMAZING... BUT HOW MANY FINGERS HAS SHE?

  • @sextasis Thirty-four. Count them, they're all there.

  • You're definitely one of the best pianists that exists in toutube.

  • I find no word fit to describe Ms. Lisitsa's brillance

  • Excellent! very good interpretation, just missing a little more sense in interpreting the works of Chopin.

  • Hardest chopin piece there is after my opinion...

  • She can play the keys!

  • Não conhecia esta peça musical e fiquei surpreso com a agilidade da pianista. Belissimo!!!!!!!!!!

  • its so random, no spirit, no melody, no thrill . Chopin is so prosaic

  • @batura1 But this his one of his earliest works...definitely not representative of his entire output.

  • Magnificent!

  • You are an amazing pianist! Any tips for a beginner of 3 years?

  • What a rush and no sense of orchestration. It lacks!

But she is a GREAT pianist!

  • b.p.e.!

    best performer ever! :)

  • haha without muscle memory I doubt 99% of pianists would even be able to play any song of this calibre all the way through! I know that without it I couldn't play chopin's winterwind etude whatsoever, it'd just be a melted snowflake! And of course Valentina once again does the best performance EVER....I hope I can become as good as her...

  • haha, you know it's nearly impossible :D

  • for me, she is the best pianist of the world... is the perfection.

  • it fells like a march

  • you know it won't... but anyway on youtube anyone can pretend anything. LOL

  • Well, Chopin was a poet for music; you're his flawless interpreter. Hugs

  • Hi valentina, did you, when you first started practising piano, do finger exercises such as Hanon? Do you think it's necessary? Sorry if this sounds like a silly question. Thank You.

  • The answer is going to be yes.

  • not a 100% necessary, but definitely a 100% recommended. do a lot of Hanon, and etudes and such, it'll help great. I couldn't play Bach's prelude in C minor for a very long time, then my teacher made me play Hanon and Czerny etudes, now I play La Campanella. Believe me, consider it necessary =)

  • In my opinion Hanon and Czerny are things of the past. There are better ways. Look up Fundamentals of Piano Practice. I think you can even download the book for free at the website

  • She says she prefers to rely on muscle memory. You can look up an interview here on YouTube.

  • i want to listen to her playing prokofieff piano concerto no.2

  • i agree. i am sure she'd be amazing at it.

  • why o why does anything she plays come out beautiful?

  • Does somebody know how many hours she practice every day?? I think something like 14-15 hours, but perhaps more or less...

  • Valentina does spend some long stretches at the piano but I wouldn't just call that "practice" in the drudgery sense. More like consolidation and refinement. She already has a fantastic, deeply ingrained technique from a lifetime of hard work and learns new material very fast. Also in rehearsal she'll pick on small sections, slow them down and work on the way they sound (i.e. on the particular piano) but generally mostly limbers up for the actual performance.

  • How I'd love to play like her...

  • its easy! :P

  • Interesting! A neglected piece done great justice by one of the greatest living pianists. Too bad her videos on here suffer from strange cuts.

  • wonderful performance!

    carnegie hall´s waiting for ya.

  • such a talented pianist. i want to be just like you someday. i can't wait to see you perform on saturday!!

  • I'm playing this one, 70% hits at end :P

  • damn you are sooo gothic i soo love it and how amazing skilled..i guess i'll work harder to catch up with you :X

  • Mh... I like, but it's too fast, it's to technique... I prefere when it's more calm =)

  • Yes. The piece is normally for piano and orchestra. It is Theme and Variations on the aria La Ci Darem from Mozart's opera Don Giovanni. The fourth variation is the one she plays here. She makes it look easy but in reality it is very taxing to play, at least to those of us with poor technique. I would like to see her play the 2nd variation. I know speed isn't everything but we like to see virtuosity in action now and then. There are no other female pianists in her class and just a couple of men.

  • @alkan132 Valentina Igoshina would give her a run for her money...way more relaxed and emotional.

  • What a technique! It's UN-BELIEVABLE!

  • awesome!!!!

  • is this the original version or an arrangement?, because I've heard it whit piano and orchestra

  • Excellent, as usual! I want to buy the DVD

  • You're unique!

  • i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's fantastic! I love the flying fingers! :-)

  • Thats very nice! I never heard this song before.

  • Beautiful. Thanks for posting!
