Alot of people think Christmas is a religious holiday. But the truth is it isnt. We all enjoy Christmas. Because it is a holiday that is practucally based on the plesures if life. However its important to know that Christmas was orginally a pagan holiday that was changed by Christians. Jesus was never in Christmas so therefore he shouldnt be in it at all.

Here in sweden ALL schools do silent night and all the other x-mss songs. Only sad thing about it is that all of them has been translated into swedish but we still sing them every year.

On our village square they have an old nativity stable set up next to a giant Christmas tree, but some raging muslim fuckwads have gone out of their way to destroy the stable for three years straight! And so they put up a secret camera in the stable itself, and a siren if someone touches the statues (who are behind a metal grid, so innocent viewers can't set it off.) so the police knows who these assholes are, and will be put in jail for the rest of the night!

Santa Klaus was a saint. Around Jesus' birthday he would hand out toys and candies to the local children. The children were told to leave their doors unlocked after their parents went to bed, and he would leave the toys and candy in their stockings( or socks) that were hung over the fireplace to dry. It caught on in surrounding regions, and more men were acting as Saint Nick to give children a nice gift. The ONLY religious tie to Santa Klaus is the fact it was done either on Jesus' birthday.

Santa Klaus was a saint. Around Jesus' birthday he would hand out toys and candies to the local children. The children were told to leave their doors unlocked after their parents went to bed, and he would leave the toys and candy in their stockings( or socks) that were hung over the fireplace to dry. It caught on in surrounding regions, and more men were acting as Saint Nick to give children a nice gift. The ONLY religious tie to Santa Klaus is the fact it was done either on Jesus' birthday.

Any religion other then Jewdism, Christianty, and Islam are paganism. Some of which yes have roots to ealry civilization, but others have been created in more recent years and Christianity just like some pagan religions traces roots back to early human civilization. Only speak about what you know!

@evilwren18 No they are not. Paganism is itself a RELIGION. Christianity, judaism (which the is correct spelling not Jewdism), and Islam are NOT pagan. Pagans came 8,000 years BEFORE those religions were EVER thought of. They don't trace anything back to early human civilization. Don't give me that bullshit. I've read the bible front to back. and WHY are you so offended by it? Are you a blinded by all the modern day bullshit people are fed? Brush up on History and Spelling; then talk to me.

You may have read a Bible but that must be it. I have taken several college courses on Religions including pagan ones. I have read not only the Bible but Humnaist ManisfestoI&II,Quran as well as many other writings as well as other sources.Lastly I hate all things religion and I don't buy anything.

@evilwren18 If that's the case, then why did Christians and all them lead Crusades to kill off what they considered Pagan? It doesn't make sense to have all these religions be named different names. Also, since you're so 'smart' what is the definition of a Pagan since you seem to know so much. And if you're so annoyed with all this, then next time try being INFORMATIVE not INSULTING :)

I'm an atheist, I just celebrated the damn holiday once every year. You don't have to be a Christian or believe in God to celebrate Christmas. Christmas isn't about Jesus or Christianity anymore anyway. In fact, Christmas started out to be a pagan holiday to celebrate the winter solstice. They've Christmas long before Jesus was even born yet.

I go out of my way to correct these people by saying "Screw you, it's merry Christmas." If they disagree, I wish them a happy Shut the Fuck Up.

If it's December 19th or later, go ahead with the Merry Christmas all you want; until then, it's not fucking Christmas yet! Let me enjoy the holidays at my own pace instead of forcing me to celebrate four different holidays continuously over the course of about four goddamn months. Keep Christmas confined to late December!

As an atheist, i approve this message. though, everyone is entitled to their own religion, and none of it is meant to be offensive. why can't we all just enjoy the season? if you don't celebrate Christmas, don't be offended by the people who do. i don't care who celebrates what, i don't judge. just don't try and shove your beliefs down my throat, or im gonna get ticked.
