  • You have messed up so many things that I don't bother paying attention to most of your commitments lol. But honestly, at least you keep trying to find new ways to better your self. You do need to get out of the popular habit of giving up after failing. I struggled with getting off of drugs and at times I would fail and do more instead of less, but I kept at it. Eventually you will reach your goal as long as you don't let a bump in the road get you down. Though, it is easy to quit when you fail.

    No sir. Your body will use carbs, fat and then protein for energy, it will only break down muscle for energy if you have no carbs and it has already burned a large amount of fat in a short period of time. Since Phil is still fat, it is very unlikely that this headache is from muscle fatigue.

For example instead of saying "I said no" we'd say "I was like no". I don't know why, its just mannerisms you pick up, its most common in places like Leicestershire or Liverpool, middle east of England really. Not frowned upon here, people talk differently in different situations anyway

I'm planning on training for next years Denver Marathon starting next month after I get back to the States and seeing you post these videos is helping me get/stay motivated to do so.   • Different things work for different people so no matter what you do we're right there with ya. I think the only fail is if you don't even try at all.

  • I know you said you have a regimen but if you want tips from a nutritionist, start your day with a protein shake. A half hour after you wake up, whether you are hungry or not, mix a scoop of any flavor of whey protein (usually 1 scoop usually 110 cals) with a cup of any fresh or frozen fruit, ice and wate in your blender. Dont eat after 8pm (i know its hard) and do not eat over 1500 mg of sodium a day. less salt will reduce cravings for sugar as well as using chocolate powder in your shakes

  • RE: Migraine.

    I suffer from migraines several times a month. Needing complete darkness, complete Silence, and a handy Bucket. Not Fun.

    I have found that 4-5 drops of Lavender Oil in a cup of water, put in a misting spray bottle. spray it lightly on your face (or in front of you and walk into the mist) helps big time.

    And No I didn't find this on Google, :P

  • Eat well. Exercise hurts but it won't kill you. I'm kinda proof. I just got out of hospital after 10 days for almost having a stroke at the age of 26. Pretty sure its because I ate like shit and avoided exercise like the plague. Instead, now I've stored myself up a blood clot on my brain me and the doctors are trying to get rid of, and I'm refocusing my life and dedicating it to educating people about the benefits of a healthy life. Oh yeah, and I bet my headache hurts worse than yours. Lol xox

I get migraines all the time and they are extremely painful, they cause vomiting, shaking, sensitivity to light and sometimes lead to trips to the hospital. Weight loss is no different than major drug addiction. It is about small victories, support, and self control. You have a goal. Do what you can do within reason to accomplish your goal.   • you have to be careful when starting to work out at a gym for the first time, don't push yourself too extremely. Your body can go into Rhabdomyolysis-where your body breaks down muscle for energy. Basically, catabolism. causing dark urine, muscle weakness........just be careful.

  • It's surprising how much weight you can lose if you just eat healthy for a change and exercise regularly, I managed to lose half a stone in 2 weeks and I was already thin.

  • I have gotten that to, when i would work out it would get worse. You need to carb load Phil! the day before you are planning on doing a run, eat lots of complex carbs ie: sweet potatoes/brown rice/ezekiel bread/ and have oats every morning. Your headache is most likely contributed to lack of good sugars in your blood for energy. Your body will store the carbs you had the day before and release the energy when you work out. getting in shape is 80% what you eat and 20% how you work out.

I feel like shit, and it sucks to have to start at square one again...but it's nice to know that such an influential person is going through the same :) Please keep making healthy diet/exercise videos on your vloggity!

  • A personal trainer helps a ton. I used one for about 9 months and he kicked my ass to the tune of about 20 lbs and a whole bunch of muscle. It's now been 3 workouts since I stopped using him so hopefully I can keep up the goodness.

  • its not the tearing of muscles. it the lactic acid being released when you havent exercised in a lonnng timeee. ur atp runs out and ur body yearns oxygen (thats why ur huffing and puffing after a work out.) ahaha

    that probably one thing i remember from last year 9th grade bio... lol
