Well I have 2GB memory card and can record 10 mins then goes on standby and stops recording then I press record again then after 10 mins again it goes off can it record like 30 mins continous???

There isn't anything you can do, Sony has limited the recording time to 10 minutes on the camera. So unless you can modify the firmware, you're going to need to get a different camera. At least if you want to record longer than 10 minutes.

Go to "P" program mode and then enter the menu, and go down till you reach "color mode". You can't do this in the auto or easy modes.

all sony cameras psp's and most sony products don't use regular memory cards. You have to buy a memory stick duo.

well its obviously a different type of memory card. there not all the same you know. you need to buy a Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo card :) hope this helps

It proberly can record videos because most cameras can, it depends on your memory stick, your memory stick could be 1Gb, 2Gb, 4Gb. Theres different ones, it dosn't come with batteries because its recharble but it come with the recharble bit (its not batteries, its like the battery in your phone).

Yep, i gess they are good! you should be able to record your band playing unless you visicly can't because you have no arms or something lol, but if you do have arms xD then you should be able to film your band :)

you should be able to zoom in and out while you are recording, next time you record, press every button and you will find it out lol, but i don't think you can zoom in once its on your computer and if you can then the more you zoom in on you computer then it will get more pixerlated and dodgy so i would find out how to do it on your camera.

Oh I see what you mean, I got a black one but the box has a silver one and the lens is all black. Damn that sucks that they didn't make it all pink. After I ordered mine I thought I should have got a blue one cause like no one has a blue camera but yeah blue and black goes better than pink and black. Don't you have to buy a special HD cable to hook it up to a HDTV? I think it only has a regular audio and video output in the box.

The USB cable has two other plugs, I guess one for image and another for sound... I dont have an HDTV so I havent tried it yet.

I just got this camera and it only comes with the cable to plug into a regular TV, I mean you could plug it into a HDTV but it's not an HD cable so you won't get HD quality. Anyway the camera is pretty good, I used to have the DSC-W50 but upgraded to this when I dropped my DSC-W50 on the ground. It messed something up in the lens so I had like to black spots on all the pictures and videos I would take.

I recommend you get the Sony W120, Im getting that camera too :P Nikon is sleek but the quality of the images are not as good as the W120. Sony has OPTICAL stabilization, Nikon only has an Electronic stabilization. Even though Sony W120 has a lower MP compared to Nikon S210, it wont matter since the lens of the Sony is way better than Nikon. I heard numerous complains regarding the Nikon image qualities from some people, so Sony W120 is the BEST deal =D
