Vielleicht gibt es eine ältere Version, die noch von mehreren Leuten gespielt wird. Egal was andere sagen - das war die geilste BF2 Mod überhaupt - leider hatte ich fast gar keine möglichkeit das zu spielen in der Zeit, in der es von zich-hunderten gespielt wurde :(

We've recreated as many of the fan favorites as we could. We had to start from scratch due to copyright. We can't "port" the maps over from anything previous BattleField games. There are still more being made, along with new custom maps. We've been quiet otherwise, but work still continues!

Project Reality is boring, plain and simple. Different type of games are bad comparisons. Project Reality is for people who wanted to actually be in the military, but couldn't make it. Video Games by their definition are not "reality" and PR was removed after one single game on my machine.

This MOD was made by fans of Desert Combat, but not a single one of them were from Trauma studios (maker of Desert Combat).

First of all, project reality isn't that realistic. It could easily be compared and lose to ArmA, Full Spectrum Warrior and Microsoft Flight Simulator X for realism and lose. But, holy shit. Even though video games aren't for reality, there is a whole industry in video games for people who want a little more complexity in their games. Realism = thinking, it's a raw exercise of a player's skill as well as their thinking ability.

Okay, so maybe you had a bad day with PR on your first day. It's possible you just got with a shitty team vs a stacked team of clanners. No? Well, maybe you just didn't read the shortass manual and had no idea what you were doing. What? You read it cover to cover; well I have nothing else to say about this besides pointing out that the game must have been too complicated, to difficult and too demanding. PR is for people who want to work as a team to accomplish an objective.

PR is NOT counterstrike, it's not Halo and it certainly isn't DCON but you're right in some ways.

DCON is about spamming scuds and base raping.

PR is about teamwork, tactics and actually fighting your enemy on the field.

DCON has many useless vehicles and positions

PR has no redundant vehicle positions, every position in a vehicle is used to it's fullest extent all the time.

And to that rude little comment about the military. Yes, it's true that PR has many players who are veterans or currently serving service members from all around the world. It's also true that these members offer insight to the developers on vehicles and weapons. It's also true that the developers were invited to have a lan party with the British Army.

No, not everyone who plays PR wants to join the military, maybe we are just sick of the lack of teamwork, maybe we are just sick of the drunken idiots who go around and don't do anything, maybe we are just sick of the Jihad jeep spam and the shitty ass weapons. Maybe they were just looking for a new kind of quality in their game. I know this because thats why I made the switch from DCon to PR. The change takes time, you suck at first but then it gets better. I switched and never went back.
