Hey i know im replying late but I am in my transitioning phase to going natural and I am a senior in high school how did go about being confident when it came to prom because I see alot of ppl getting there hair straight but i wanna be different n have that natural look but then again im scared at the same time..

@alcovyhigh um I touch up my roots every 2 1/2 months so maybe 5 times. And its about givin your hair a break also in between dyes, dont dye it every 6 weeks

Wow how old were you when you BC your hair?? I am 16 going into my junior year and its about to be my 6th month of transitioning, but my hair is not as nearly as how your hair has grown in the 7th month of your transition. PLEASE I NEED TIPS lbs lol btw you are very pretty <3

@LovepinkBri HI, everyones hair growth is very different. I did the same thing my junior of HS. Just remember , keep your body healthy. Miniminze your stress, eat heatlhier, and drink water. Also love your hair, I mean, wash it weekly to every two weeks, hydrate your hair, Minimize the amount of heat it come into contact, and also use protective styles. Thats how you show your hair love, and be patient. Your hair may grow slow, but you maybe able to retain length better. Its a give and take.

@princessnaturalful hey! really i just put no heat in my hair, i know some naturals press their hair, i only do it 3x a year maybe. and i also condition, condition, and condition it, our hair loves moisture and water.

Lol, that is strange because i was also thinking that you looked a little like Rhianna too. I love your styles, you are creative. I also admire you for going natural so young. I wish that i had done it a long time ago. i had a relaxer at the age of 13, but up until then i had beautiful long natural hair. We live and we learn.
