Once for drunk driving awareness they had a morning anouncement on a monday morning.  In the anouncement the principal named 4-6 kids names that died in a drunk driving accident over the weekend. It was so horrible, they were very popular and everyone knew them.

Then about 30 minutes later these kids showed up in class dressed all in black and not talking.

It was supposed to be some sort of lesson about how easy it would be to lose somebody, but it was just traumatizing.
