in work .. we hate doing hot stone massages because they really dont hold heat well even if we do preheat them in hot water 4 a long period of time and it's just not as beneficial of maunual massage! dont feel like we've done a good job when working out knots etc.!
Looks really good over the glutes (butt)! I think our butts are the main muscle that needs regular massage as it's the most abused sitting on hard seats all day!!!! I know some don't like it, but I'm all for that!
they usually have a small mini tub that u can plug in and fill in with water and stones to warm up the stones right b4 a massage. they get heated to a certain temperature than right away used on the body.
Have you seen this new way to heat hot stones in a bag?!

its not just any stone, its a special kind of stone that hold the heat.

The stones are preheated thoroughly in a roaster full of hot water. They hold their warmth for a fairly long amount of time.
