I remember the CG being showcased in a 3D modelling forum - there's actually a missing bit at the end where the sperm tries to enter a piece of corn, repeatedly bashing into it! I think the commercial was cancelled in the end, unfortunately.

An advert is supposed to be all about showcasing a product (or event). This is 50 seconds of a sperm swimming in a clean body cavity (which looks like a vagina) and 6 seconds about the Oslo gay festival.
Its in bad taste and makes no sense to a non gay individual.
As for 28000 people laughing, i wonder how many were confused or disgusted? Just look at the comments for this vid.

The point of an ad is to make people remember. In this case, people with a sense of humor will remember Oslo Gay Festival. The spot does what it is supposed to do.
There is a handful of people, often religious nuts and the like, who will find it disgusting. Sad of course, people finding love disgusting, but then again, having a working brain is not a requirement for breathing and breeding, so they will always exist.
The fact that you were born without a sense of humor is lamentable of course.

This commercial is not about love, it is about sex. Confusing the two shows you have poor emotional development.
Sex feels good, so to give someone a good feeling is sometimes confused as love, but unlike sex, love does not depend on the body.

Nah, I don't prefer "poo" jokes, I prefer jokes that have a meaning, if it is political, that is even better. Given the extreme intolerance you find in many societies today in relation to same-sex love, this one is particularly good. Even more so considering that it was permitted on prime-time TV in a country which clearly has a much larger thinking population than does, for example, the US.
The commercial is about sex, and sex is an integral part of love, it isn't the same, just part of.
