It's unfortunate that some of our friends are making negative comments about the dance. We should rather appreciate for the fact that despite being miniscule in number they are representing Bodos in USA. It's a cultural presentation and in such cases it is the attitude and motif that matter most.
Lwgwfwr -- none of the dancers are pure Boro or even grew up in the Bodo areas. Inspite of that that they chose to present the dance to represent the rich cultural diversity of the region. Agreed they might have done some mistakes or may be many. But should they be given three cheers just for their good intention and good will.

I know this is not good bagurumba dance, but I admire their courage of introducing the bodo culture with the little knowledge they have of cultural dance, others would make excuse and never do. But they did it. Is it not somehting praise worthy? Everyone has respect, why would you use those bad words? Those bad words do not describe this dance but describe you and your culture. I feel sorry that we have people like you among Bodos.
