  • so black,cant see

  • @HouseholdHacker how do you turn the 3 wires of a brushless motor into only positive and nagitive??

  • this is cool!

  • @Lizzie1000and1 Literally

  • @colin571 - lol, yeah.

  • Power means everything if your Russian.

  • Son, I am hot glue.

  • bigger the better

  • Or you can use it to cool down your pc or labtop

  • or just buy a fan?

  • Salt the ice and it should blow super cold air.

  • Is it possible to put sound to a single speaker?

I have a simple speaker no power or something on it.

I got led lights on my usb but dont know how to put sound on it.

  • @HouseholdHacker can u tell me the names of the intro and the ending song or somthing plz

    ty

  • I pulled my headphones out by accident do he said, keep in mind this is a small, enclosed space this will work in wont f**k up an entire room. LMFAO!!!

  • @TraNWhiZ A very stupid question. Its suprising how it even got 5 likes, its such an obvious question.

  • I did it in a bit different way. I found a dead PSU in my drawer and then got everything out of the it except the fan and then connected its wires to a USB cable.

  • stop speakin spanish

  • kipkay is ure future

  • After using it withUSB, it magnetised my USB..

  • How can i make this with 4 fans and with running them on full power 12 volts on a normal outlet.

  • @HackingDutchman You can get a normal 12 volt transformer, cut the wires off, and solder on the wires from the fan.Or you can get an old PSU from a computer and use that. but that might be to bulky.

  • I will make one for a school project, but i'll use a CPU cooler... I hope It'll work...

  • I have done this with a box fan and a cooler

  • also a nice way to fry your computer.water might get into the fan and cause a short circuit causin the positive and negative to touch and it might fry something inside your motherboard.

  • @alfredorss learn how to spell then give advice faggot

  • @thegreatcornholyio yuo cant undrstnd mi writng?

  • @thegreatcornholyio Learn to use words and commas properly

  • @alfredorss thats what the hotglue is for

  • you should have added a potentiometer so that you could vary the speed

  • 3:19 15 minute period. lol!

  • i love the intro with bass drop

  • can i strap this to my xbox

relating to the vid: i made one hooked it up to 12 volts dc workes great

  • @superhacker101 i used the fan from my xbox that works lol

  • @MrFury4 lol

  • Anyone wanna explain it a little more in detail for all of us?cx

  • @HouseholdHacker can you put something hot, like one of those hot ice packs in the ice compartment? I want to make a USB heater for the winter

  • @StreetHampster Obviously yes, what kind of stupid question is that?

  • @StreetHampster Yes its exactly the same principle.

  • @StreetHampster probably not since the air circulating would cause the air to cool down

  • I used dry ice !!!!!!!

  • 2:00-3:00 laptop

    3:00+ MacBook

  • if u want a heater put fire in it.... duh

  • Thank green!!

  • If you live in a climate that isn't so humid, I'm pretty sure this hack works well... otherwise, you might as well cave in and grab a window unit. I ended up doing that instead after trying a couple of homemade a/c projects.

  • now we need a heater....

  • this is helpful i can even cool my laptop while it is on

  • Can you please say what type of "switch?" You put this video online as a DIY, but do not make it easy to DIY...

  • @maxj96 toggle switch (SPST)

  • Couldn't you just solder the cables to the switch?

  • @Firebug7780

    yes

  • can you make a heater?

  • How do I hook up multiple fans, say 8?

  • Damn.. Next Time Use A Different Color Besides Black

  • could use use it to power an old xbox 360 fan as well?

  • I made one today, however it is quite weak,

can I use two usb cables to power the box?

  • WHAT IS THE SONG FROM THE END

  • 1:13 now that our holes are cut

    xD

  • WOW i shuld have made a video, my friend and I made practically the ame thing. Same enclosure too.

  • why wont the video buffer grrrr

  • Thats awsome i used a usb cable that charged an old xbox mic!

  • how do u keep the watter and ice inside when u put it vertically straight?, i did mine and it started to spill out of my big fan!

  • @adarshsly

    He udes an icepack.

  • In the video what kind of switch do you use? Also you should do more "usb powered"

  • What shitstep song do you use?

  • can the fans be the same size or do that have to be diferent sizes

  • @HouseholdHacker can u do more stuff to do with tv??

  • make a toaster!!

  • how is the switch lighting up that bright because those switches are high amps like 20 amps

  • @TheBellluna NO tell me why a few resons why

  • where can you get that fan with lights?

  • @destroyeroflight23 radioshack maybe

  • @destroyeroflight23 overclockers.co.uk under cooling :)

  • Make some more ub powerd stuff plzzz

  • what about copper coiling

wit freeon and stuff. not sure how it works but i would love to learn

  • how many old p.cs do u have

  • Can i Just Use one fan to blow out and put holes on the other side???

  • @TheGreatFilet

    radioshack

  • how abt just buyin a cooler pad

  • whats the name of that tool you used to cut the box? and where can i find it? thanks

  • Where can I get one of those boxes?

  • wow thats awesome. I think I might actually fucking make this!

  • Make a how to

  • Make a how to

  • @TheMatt2488 You just watched a how to...

  • ''or u can use it in your car with the 9v battary''

nahh just buy those 12v to 5v car ciggerate lighter adaptor instead of buying battarys!

u let me down hhh :P jokes

  • Did you know that if you point a fan at the bottom of your feet you will cool off faster than having it pointed at your head. Found this out by accident one day. Works great.

  • @chauntelcarmen

Or if you do it to your spine =D like when you're hot, put a ice cube on your spinal cord, and you start cooling pretty fast.

  • This will be useful for my mom, her computer tends to overheat whenever she burns a cd and all, so instead of draggin a giant fan, a mini a/c should be fine

  • It would be so cool if somoene can make me this or if HH sells it ^.^ im not great with the wireing and getting all the parts required

  • Hey @HouseholdHacker ! I've thought up of making a Solar USB charger made from used solar panels from garden lights and an old USB cord. Can you make a vid or give me some tips/help on how to do this? Thanks, I love your vids!!! :D

  • if u have an xbox this helps alot

  • Can you show us how you made that make shift dremel tool?

  • 1:31 can some one name me the litle thing for swiching on/of the fans ??

  • @10arton It's simply called a switch. If you go to radioshack, you would find some for really cheap

  • I'm going to build one of these to put in my PC desk, my desktop get super hot, and this is going to be an excellent way for me to cool it down.

  • Not life saving if you can't get ice in these "third world" areas... Also how will the ice bag work? It insulates the coldness of the ice for the most part.. This was still pretty neat though ;)

  • HEY! HH...i took this idea and made it my own :P I used it to make an AC unit for my laptop, core temp dropped from 118 to 113

  • @toboe399 thats sick i need one lol my lap top gets way hot sometimes

  • @xDEATHSxSHADOWx i just modified it a tad, made an AC adapter to run it on 120->11ish volts, used an old GI joe foot locker to do it, i have a pic if you wanna take a look

  • You should drill holes on top of the sides for air in and turn over saller fan.... u r just wasting energy with 2 fans like that. Bigger fan ends up pulling smaller one.

Or you just put grid instead smaller fan.

  • where do you get a box like that?

  • @gamerdj3000

    Radio shack/The Source

  • @gamerdj3000 reusable plastic tissue box?

  • I have the same rotary tool

  • This is gona work well with mah xbox :)!

  • I made one of these and my sister thinks its dumb but I think she's just jealous.

  • @Iamatuber18 Maybe she is too lazy.

  • @Iamatuber18

Does it reallyy cools down a medium sized room? Or just yourself if ur close to it?

  • @Iamatuber18 what did he mean by "switch" in this video was it a transistor or something?

  • Comment removed

  • perfect for camping!

  • Cool! I have the same fans as those, and I can find the project box and 9 volt battery holder in radioshack, but can you post schematics for the wiring please?

  • @XxocarabxX why would you need a schematic? Its easy to do and i can make a schematic in under 5 minutes if you still want it, I built one in a big ass box in about 45 minutes

  • is there a way of connecting 2 9 v batteries together

  • Wish I would have known about this before I went to China...

  • 3:35 Holy crap it's moving. :D

  • Hey as you say the fan will run slower on the 5v supply through the usb... What if you connect two usb lines in series in two usb ports instead of using only one usb, by connecting the negative of one opened usb cable to the positive of another and then connecting the remaining two lines to the ac as you have done? Wont that then provide 10v, since it will be like having connected two 5v battery sources in series???

  • sell out..

  • Im finally going to make this after learning that cooling your PS3 will help it performance. im using an Apple i-pod charger for the USB connection and when i opened up the cord i found a black red blue and white wires and a bunch of other wires surrounding them. Help?

  • i just go to the store and buy a m&m fan...

  • nice sloppy work

  • what type of saw is that?

  • perhaps you can use thouse red and green wires for a data transfer......stick a usb flash drive in there!

  • in my country we have USB refrigerators... :D

  • @ejtc25 You must be from Japan. We're a little stuck on those...but I'm sure these guys can do that.

  • Comment removed

  • im in the philippines, they cost like 700 pesos here, ik they can do it as well

  • dude i useda plug in you plug into the wall insted of USB... FUCKING AWFUL IDEA i nearly sent a power out through out my house!!

  • I made mine, it works. sorta. I had to ditch USB and go with a AC adapter cable for the full power.

  • I wonder can you let this operate solely on a solar charger?

  • fuking ads

  • HH and Kipkay = my life

  • I wonder can you also use a wooden box?

  • @FuckingMirrors no FUCKING way

  • nice --- Sent From HouseholdHacker's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • Can you make this video in a White Surface???

  • Sweet, my only suggestion would be to add a stand of some sort so you can point it at an angle. Oh, and The Game, Lolz

  • How can you use the power supply line from the phone line to run it. When the power goes out the phone lines still work. What resistor or gig-its and gadgets?

  • thats more of a swamp cooler not ac without no freeon in it its not considerd A air conditioner

  • you can heat up a paper clip and melt the plastic.

  • how can i find a box like that ??

  • When did you think it was a good idea to lay down a black sheet to work on with black parts? I couldn't see a thing.

  • what kind of switch is that

  • cool --- Sent From HouseholdHacker's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • bet it would be nice and chilly with some dry ice

  • @StlxN1NJA DUD STEP ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!

  • black on black? really?

  • @Trollipopper why do you hate this guy? This is like the third video I've seen of his that you're trying to get removed. Keep to yourself, asshole.

  • if you somehow got a hold of the test befor hand you could just write the answers down on the tape and then use the tape...

  • MAN! thank you so much! i have a small little room under the stairs with no ventilation, but i have my xbox and a 5A powered usb hub this thing works great! the place is about 5*4*3 so it doesn't take much to cool it down! :)

  • @Trollipopper retard its not an AC unit. its 2 computer fans. get the fuck off this cool vid you fucking idiot.

  • @Trollipopper shut up fag

  • The main reason i use A/C is to dehumidify...

Show us how to make a dehumidifier!

  • Love the idea! Just finished making one, exaclty like urs lol, except i only use 9v battery unti li get a usb wire, Many thanks for the idea!

  • don't do too much that's for sure melted the plastic casing on the wiring and the wire got red hot

  • Ice cubes?... More like Ice Slugs.

  • I would not use that with a 9 volt battery... I ran a 12v off a 9v battery once and after about an hour the battery popped.

  • i made it i used a female molex connecter and hooked it up inside the pc so when i turned it on i have ac thanks hh

  • Thumbs Up For Mark Zuckerberg!

  • Where can you get a box like that??

  • can i use this to cool my pc? like put ice in a box and stuff. or will water get in air and blown into the computer.

  • Ducktape...everything works with ducktape.

  • On my computer mouse when i opened it up it said the white wire = VCC | that represents voltage. And by cutting this wire we are cutting off voltage? Help?

  • Make more "USB Powered" videos.

  • I'm so going to make this! I have tons of old pc towers laying around, hot glue, and I have a thingie that you plug usb into that plugs straight into the wall.

PROJECT TIME!! A/c here I come!
