Sailing at its best! 38kt

If you freeze the video you can see they were doing around 11 knots when they shot the GPS screen. The max speed was probably an aberration from a GPS error -- I get those often. I've seen frequent max-speed errors on my GPS from a momentary random error. Not saying that boat can't do 38 but didn't see anything in this video that would make me think they went above about 15-20, and they probably would need to clean the bottom to even get into the 30s unless surfing down a wave.

I guarantee they are doing 25 knots plus. Look at the spray and the center hull lifting. I've been aboard the Formula 60 Earth Voyager in the USA Great Lakes - it will do15 knots with only a jib.
