@jerald0 Ive been going to do a tutorial video to show other peeps how I do a video like this, I just havent had the time or patience yet. However, if you are expecting a nice quick fix, you are going to be disappointed. These videos arent the easiest thing to make, and while mine is free of any fancy dodads and other funky stuff, they are still a bit complex and time consuming. Sit tight, a tutorial will pop up on my channel soon enough.

how did you get that song onto Rock Band 3?

@ahweyalex You can export most of the songs from RB 1 and 2 as well as the various other RB games like the Lego one for a small fee ($5 bucks for RB1 if I remember right). There is an item in the store (obviously, cant get it from PS Store atm) called Export Key. Ill send you a PM with the link to the info.
