I love Dvorak's music, there is a soul, what is very near to me... I'm proud, he's comming from the same country as I do... Words are comming to my mouth but I can't explaine all my feelings in English, excuse me... Only one last word: Great.
Beautiful... just beautiful. I listen to this piece on the 2 disc "Romantic Adagios" collection and it always brings me to tears. Definitely one of the most beautiful pieces ever written. Antonin would be pleased. :)
Watching Alan Cook conduct is like watching a sculpturer work with clay. He moulds the music sensitively and creates a magical contrast of pianissimo, crescendo and forte, not to mention life and movement. It brought me to tears and I was greatly moved by this piece of work. Congratulations, Maestro Alan. Bravo!
Was played at my mothers funeral. She loved it so much and so do I!!

I love this all the more considering I have Bohemian blood in me and I live in Omaha, Nebraska (which Dvorak visited before writing the ninth)

This is so beautiful. Who wrote the lyrics (Going Home) to this master piece? I know the "words" I would just love to know who wrote them.

William Arms Fisher, one of Dvorak's students in New York.
