I've got this amp and it's pretty good, all the videos I've seen everyone has had the shape up pretty high, meaning a cut in the mids, in my opinion this amp works best when the shape function is on zero.

@SenselessAlias I agree with you there. I don't own this amp but I have heard it enough times to know that the shape should be rolled off, if I had it, my ideal tone would be with the shape around 2 or 3.

@evan242l yes but for an extra 100$ you can get the halfstack flexwave but either way they are really good for metal. but people overlook there clean channels. the clean is amazing also so if you play hendrix or stevie ray vaughn it is great to. but this is an amazing metal amp. if your playing things like a day to remember in drop b or c the amp will sound great . it will just depend on the action of the strings on your guitar(:

@DylanBStringer91 both the clean and overdrive amps have high (treble) knobs, and the distortion channel has a shape knob which works perfectly fine, the overdrive EQ also affect the high gain channel. With the delay problem, im pretty sure you just didn't know how to use the amp, its a common complaint that the effects turn on and off for the flex wave amps, but it just has an odd effect bank that locks the effect to a channel after you switch it.
