  • I got an 8 cent raise last year now I'm at $9.08 an hour. My male co-worker makes $9.14. The woman in our department makes $10 an hour and does the least amount of work. This videos got it's facts backwards.

  • You should be ashamed of yourselves for leaving comments like this...

  • women call in sick twice as often!

  • OMG this video is such a lie. Women make up more of the workforce than men, and make more. These numbers have been on the incline for 7 years now. Women are now taking even the jobs where men excelled. This is such bullshit.

  • fucking feministic retards.

  • I can cook and jerk off. So...women are worthless. That wasn't hard to figure out.

  • When north korea shows up at the pacific coast with guns I'm the one with the rifle while you hide in a bomb shelter

  • I'll give you one reason men make more, conscription

  • fucking worthless women

  • i have never seen these bitches on a roof putting tar, never seen a women paving a street, none of the miners in chile where women. never heard of a women working an oil rig, and if they are they probably need to be helped out constantly. When i see them there then i will give them the fucking 33 cents until then stick that horn up your ass

  • YAY feminist propaganda. I think these women need to stop making up lies about a "wage gap".

  • Women get paid the same for doing less work and less valuable work. In my experience I and other men are often expected to do 2-3 times what a woman does, and do it quicker, without complain about anything along the way. In a reasonable society women would only make about 20% of what a man makes because their work just isn't worth much. For the most part they are tax-eaters anyway, working in jobs such as healthcare and teaching but never industry or agriculture.

  • If the police were anything other than pussy-whipped mangina enforcers of feminist gynocratic matriarchy they would have arrested those annoying bitches for bitching and moaning at random strangers and disturbing the peace.

  • google "gender pay gap myth" and read the first two results, one is a detailed analysis of a Department of Labor Study. The "Pay gap" myth is nothing more than an anti-male canard trotted out by feminists who fail to consider that women often interrupt their careers for family reasons, women typically lack the experience men have (due to having career interruptions) and women often choose less demanding/dangerous careers. They want equal pay for unequal work.

  • im a man and i think there are just not enouth equal rights for both sides.

  • Women been making me feel worthless for years...turning an innocent kind child into someone that so distrusting of your gender....you really to expect me to turn a sympathetic ear?

Not on your life. You are all 23 percent less than the half the heart I ever had.

  • We can't afford to play pretend any more, sweetheart. Most women can't compete on equal terms.

  • I'm sure if you factor in prostitution, waitressing, and stripping. Women probably out-earn men.

  • Ice never had sex with a woman and never will because they are all worthless bloodsucking vespids that will run your life into the ground, with multiple lawsuits and alimonies and child support and custody, and much more to name. Not to mention, there is a 85% chance that if you have sex with a woman, she will deny it and say it was rape.

  • @zomgwtfbbqbagel Move to asia. Much higher quality women. Trust me bro

  • Another reason you make less is because I'll beat your fucking ass if you think you need equality. Shut the fuck up and get in the kitchen.

  • This bitch is worthless. You're not supposed to be making money, you're supposed to be making me a sandwich.

  • who said you were, no one did so stop screaming to get attn, and do what you like to do and you'll make it ok,

  • BOLD TRUTH:women have higher salaries compared to men.they also have less responsiblities and more freedoms and bonuses compared to men.THEE GREAT EXCUSE THEY USE IS...pregnancy..just siting on their home and getting money for what?1,5 year STR8! yet u see videos like that propagandising and hiding the truth.have u ever worked?then u know whats going on.u havents?then u make videos like that saying ur bullshit

  • Not to sound mean or anything, but I've never had a woman buy me dinner, or take me somewhere, because that's simply not how it's done. and why do men have to pay alimony, and why do men always seem to lose the kids and end up paying child support? why is it chivalry when it's beneficial and sexism when it isn't? a serious answer please.

  • @Theninja114 i couldnt agree more.dont let those women give u their crap.women use mens money yet their salaries r higher than mens!!!! sexism at its best(btw not even 1 woman in my life has taken my out or payed my bills or even bought me a drink(same as u dude and same as all men around the globe)

  • Look at the 23% less as a way to balance the unfair amounts of alimony and child support women siphon out of mens pockets

  • When i worked a labour job at some shitty supermarket, they hired women to work on the counters. This would involve them sitting on their ass' most of the day talking about things that weren't work related.

Meanwhile. I am lifting heavy boxes and crates of shit with all the other guys. I have scoliosis now, so I'm fucked. In this scenario should women be getting paid the same as what I was? (they probably were actually)

  • Then start your OWN goddamn business!

  • if women want to make more money theres an easyer way then this new law go get 1 of the dangerous jobs that are 99% to 100% worked by men like coal mining or skyscraper window washer or test pilot the list goes on and on men generaly make more because they risk more are you saying that a man who risked his life should make the same or less then a woman who dosnt even risk getting hurt

    men are people aswell

  • @allhailmegatron1

Yes! And now I have scoliosis in my back and I'm only 20 years old...

  • @morph611 I don't think that scoliosis has anything to do with you lifting boxes. You may have back problems because of the heavy lifting no doubt but I have scoliosis and you don't get that all of a sudden at the age of 20 from lifting boxes. Most likely you just found out now that you have scoliosis while you've probably have had it for years.

  • @victoraleb

Your right. But it was aggravated by the kinds of work that I had to do to pay bills and survive. Which meant severe pain every day :/

  • What sad little trolls, hiding behind the anonymity of the internet . . .

  • Feminism = Equality when it's convenient for women-----Privilege when it's not convenient and always at mens expense.

  • The ignorant and sexist men on here give men in general a bad name. Some people must have pretty sad lives if they get their kicks from going round insulting women online. All the kitchen and sandwich jokes are pathetic you're implying that without women you'd starve and live in squalor....

  • @lostindiekid Standard feminist shaming language that stopped working 20 years ago.

  • Nice tits. If women did EQUAL work, they'd get equal pay.

  • @BobbyL5757 I'm afraid not Women do BETTER work, and get paid less.

  • @widddershins Women are generally better at multi-tasking. This ability is usually applied to such tasks as moving stacks of paper from one side of the desk to the other in an effort to look busy while talking on a cell phone and observing the men as they do the real work. Wow, I'm sweating just thinking about it!

  • @BobbyL5757 You at work, Bobby? Just asking.

  • @BobbyL5757 actually womens brain has less gray matter and is lighter than mens.biology and organisation of global health have proved that womens brain cannot keep up with men(men r way smarter and more capable to do things faster and better compared to women)multitasking? 2 cores of mens brain work as 5 womens brains.pls stop troling and stop typing ur bl that u read in a feminists site and link.im a medic and i know whats going on when it comes to human brain.multitasking..my ass

  • @itachiitachi1946 What I meant is that women seem suited to multiple SUPERFICIAL activities while men are better at single IMPORTANT activities where intense concentration is involved like building civilization for instance. That is certainly the case with me. YMMV.

  • @handsuiy1243565643 tru bro , this is what happens wen u let bitchez stray 2 fa from the kitchen ... they get these crazy ideas of " equality " and "independence"

  • We live in the age of worthless women. You have never been able to work as hard as a man. So don't expect to be treated as his equal. Furthermore, now that man has had to learn to make his own sandwhiches, you really are of no use. All you are good for is childbirth. Why do you think there are so many single mothers? Men would rather pay half their wages in child support, to have his child raised, than to live with your lazy, nagging ass

  • @joshspence87 Maybe you're being too hard on the ladies. Only good for childbirth? You forgot the most important uses of women. Fucking and forgetting!

  • This is nonsense, if women are paid 23% less than men for doing the exact same job as men, then why do men still have a job? If I owned a business and like most business’s paid the least amount of money for the most amount of work, I would hire only women .Doesn’t make sense? Then how do you explain that companies are willing to offshore jobs to foreign countries where they can pay the employees low wages to make the same product or provide the same service. The whole argument is illogical.

  • Women get a long list of perks men don't get but $0.77 is still wrong.

  • You know, it's funny, I've NEVER seen any woman I've ever worked with, paid less than me, treated less than me, etc etc. You know what I have seen??? Unqualified women, bitching that they can't get this, or this, or that, but that guy who is qualified, he CAN! So much of this is just women being idiots, because there are MILLIONS of women in Canada here, making the same as men in the same positions.

  • General*

  • Male nurses make 1/3 than what female nurses do..

Women who don't settle down also make more than what men do in generally...

  • @Captainjack463 im a medic..and my salary is 800 euros per month and i have a medic degree ,a degree specialised on diabetes.i work double and triple shifts,i have a pc degree and an english degree.i live alone, cleaning cooking, everying u can imagine.yet medic women in hospital that r just hired having only a nurse degree(lower than my degree)have a salary of 1600euros and they work only 8-9 hours per day.they also get bonuses and days off when we men dont have right 4 that.we work and they sit

  • You get paid what you earn.

Why not hire a cheaper female rather than an expensive male.

    WTF

  • Women are not Worth More either...

  • THIS ARGUMENT STRIKES A CHRD IN MY HART. WOMEN ARE NOT WORTH LESS!!!!!!!! ALL U SEXIST PIGS BETTER REALISE THAT U WONT GET NO WIFE IF U ARE SO SEXISTTTTT!!! I HAET ALL OF U!!!! WOMEN ARE NOT STUPIDERST THAN U!!!!!

  • US WOMEN IS VERY SMART, A LOT SMARTERER THAN MEN I MEANS IT IS TOTEL BULLSHIT THAT WE ARE PAYEDED LESSERER THAN MANS. WE SHOULD USE REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY ON MEN TO PAY THEM LESS SINCE WE ARE MOSTER INTELLEGINT THAN THEY ARE! WWHOS WITH ME!

  • @Soccerman7799

    IM WITH U

  • @Soccerman7799 Women dont use logic so how are they smarter...especially since they are gettin less ...so if they were smarter they would be gettin more....

  • those of you who are making uneducated and sexist comments obviously do not understand the measures taken during research. As a biologist (not an "easy" career that some claim only women take), I perform research daily. The statistics showing that women are paid 23% less than men was the result of a study where all factors that would sqew those results were EQUAL. This means, equal hours, equal positions, equal age...anything that could possibly affect the data was obviously considered

  • @wehpers23

Cite your sources. Other wise, I don't believe you or NWLC.

  • @wehpers23 Well, "Mrs. Lady"... as a biologist you have no validity whatsoever to try and prove whether or not the 23% is "sqewed" or not (by the way it is spelled skewed...)

  • @wehpers23 bullshit

  • cont....(aka controls)...so arguments where we take "easier jobs", work less hours, and go on maternity leave are weak and ignorant. Obviously I as a woman would be a better candidate for a research position than any man whose best argument is "go back to the kitchen"...thats old, give it up, and go take it in the ass if you love dick so much :D

  • yeah woman are not worth less unless you buy them in the streets

  • well, women actually make more than men. learn to statistics

  • Actually the human body Is made up of around 5 dollars in matter so you really are worthless.

  • fucking lol'd get back in the kitchen :|

  • Comment removed

  • @kwright21 lol im canadian

  • You're worth less the more you sell your dignity. Looking like a jackass for a commercial counts as selling your dignity.

  • .....Oooookay? So women get paid the same as men if they work in the same industries, but because they don't occupy the top money-making earners (and hell, VERY FEW OF US DO), they believe that making a "public awareness of it" will make women get in the higher top-money-making pyramid scheme?

What....are these people deliberately being stupid?

  • stay in the kitchen

  • Comment removed

  • @TranslucentPlenum, you do realize that your math only holds if everyone is making $1 per hour, right? that number increases if you're making over $40 a week. nice troll?

@irenaprude2010, again this argument only holds if FMLA is put into effect for every woman, every single year. that's a whole lot of baby-making.

don't get me wrong; i understand that this is an emotional campaign and there are likely aspects that can be discredited with thoughtful rebuttal. these ain't it...

  • All these women say that they are not worth less but it's just like.... OBVIOUSLY you are. I don't go bitchin because I make less than a lot of women. On average I'd say most women make 5 to six dollars more than I do. 5 x 40 x 52= 10,400 dollars I could spend bitching and campaigning about how little money I make. Oh and by the way that statistic is wrong $ .23 x 40 hours a week x 52 weeks a year = 478 dollars and 4 cents. so... You're wrong... I guess bitches just can't do math

  • Obviously women are not worthless, they are just worth less. ha haha

  • Another reason this is total BS. Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, "The FMLA mandates unpaid, job-protected leave for up to 12 weeks a year". If a woman takes 12 weeks off to have a baby, if she takes the full 12 weeks that is very close to 23% of a year.

  • If women are paid 23% less than men, and get away with it, then the employers would only be hiring women...

  • stupid,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • "It's the salary paid workers, not the hourly paid workers that this is more directed towards."

No, that's not true either. YouTube won't let me post a link to it but if you go to the Department of Labor's website you'll find a report titled "An Analysis of Reasons for the Disparity in Wages Between Men and Women". Hell, just google that title and you'll find it.

In short, you're wrong. Even in salaried workers, there is less than 1% difference between genders doing the same job.

  • This myth has long since been debunked by the Department of Labor.

Women earn less per year because they work fewer hours per year, period. Notice how this myth always presents yearly wages, but not hourly. It's because there IS no hourly difference.

Go ahead and check for yourself.

  • @ludovicus88

It's the salary paid workers, not the hourly paid workers that this is more directed towards. A male lawyer at a firm will usually be paid more than a female lawyer of equal standing. Men are also more likely to be promoted than women. Hell, even gay male porn stars are paid more than female porn stars.

  • Some of the comments made on here by "men" are a perfect example of why women are considered worth less, and worthless. Comments like "where's my sandwich" and "why aren't they in the kitchen" are so incredibly condescending, it's amazing the hatred and contempt for women that some men have. We are so much more than a person that cooks and cleans for a man! The day that women are equal to men, is a day that men should fear on many levels, even though I'm sure we will not treat men like women.

  • @ashae88 Were not really hating on them. We just know how to get under your all's skin. You're the only one who has any say whether it affects you or not.

  • @ashae88 Please do a YT search on the words "pay gap warren farrell". It's a highly entertaining speech about the pay gap. Can you all please thumb this up? More people needs to be informed about the truth.

  • why arent they in the kitchen

  • you're right women aren't worthless though they are definitely worth less

  • Where's my sandwich?

  • if you were to remove the nice acoustic song in the background, that woman would seem like a total psycho feminist.

i support this cause btw, i just think she's taking a wrong approach to it.

  • It's not my job to educate you. The bell curve of male ability is well-known to be wider. This means there are more men at the top and more at the bottom, which is one reason 90% of the homeless are men. But of course we only hear complaints from feminists about CEOs and politicians at the top, not the homeless men at the bottom.

I work at an engineering company. There are few women in the technical fields, and in general they are less intelligent. But they get special privileges :/.

  • @jaymhammers There have been less women in engineering not because of lacking intelligence but lack of interest. That is changing now as more enter and graduate from engineering schools. The bell curve example compares men to men not men to women so therefore has no relevance to this discussion. You illogical irrationality is showing.

  • Women make less when they work less and are not as qualified.

Just because you have a degree doesn't mean you're good at your job. Men are better than women due to the greater variance in male aptitude. You should know what a bell curve is, femaleMBA.

If you don't understand that it just goes to show why women earn less.

  • I guess you could say that indeed, women ARE worth less. :/

  • @jaymhammers What viable, scientific research substantiates either your erronious claim that men have a greater variance in aptitude or work harder? In recent independent studies at Washington State U and U of Virginia as well as yr over yr surveys in both England and the US showed that people rate the same performance as better when told it was done by a man. So it is not the actual work influencing value but the gender.

  • @jaymhammers Just because you are a man does not mean you are better at the same job. What aptitude variance are you referring to? What research have you conducted (or can cite) that men test "greater" at these aptitudes in question? Without facts to support your claims they are nothing more than empty words of opinion, not reasonable or logical arguments. And slinging insults are both uncalled for as well as an act of losing desperation. Lets have an educated debate, not an insult war.

  • No man would have a job if we could simply replace them with women for 23% less. This video is a call for the exploitation of men.

  • @dmgnh2007 Your lacking a grasp of English only serves to prove the point. Definition of exploitation - to make use of meanly or unfairly for one's own advantage. Synonyms: abuse, capitalize (on), cash in (on), impose (on or upon), leverage, milk, pimp.

If a woman is paid less for the same job as a man, it is the woman that is exploited, capitalized on, cashed in on, and milked for value. Requiring equal pay for equal work does not exploit men, it raises women's compensation up to equal value.

  • @femaleMBA The market place does not require such laws. If I can get equal work from a women for 23% less than what a man charges, I would never hire a man. Therefore, this 23% differential, to the extent it exists, exists for rational reasons. I understand the "language" fine, but you have to understand how government and political interest groups work. This is going to be abused to the unjust detriment of men. I have a son and a daughter I love and want justice for. This isn't it.

  • @dmgnh2007 According to your rational: The avg Fortune 500 CEO salary is $9.25 million (total comp). Hiring a woman at 23% less would save a company over $2mil per yr. Hiring a Hispanic woman as CEO at 52% less would save the firm $4.81 million. Yet only 6% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women and less than 1% are Hispanic women. Your hypothesis fails. Try again.

  • Comment removed

  • @femaleMBA You are missing the point. These companies could save so much in salary by firing these men and replacing them with women, but they do not. Why? Because the men are bringing something that the company thinks worth while. This law will force companies to take from those men who earn and give to women that did not. Thinking otherwise is naive.

  • @dmgnh2007 Continuing to follow this vein of your logic where men are worth more than wome in the workplace, are you saying that your son is better and has more to offer than your daughter? What kind of parenting message is that? Doesn't that continue to perpetuate the pre-21st century notions that women are less valued than a prized cow? Is that really how we want are children to grow up thinking?!

  • @jaymhammers: You're a jerk. All women do not work less and choose easier jobs. You're a chauvinistic a-hole. Jump into the 21st century doll, women are just as good and hard working as men.

  • my daddys in this video !!!!!

    love u daddy !

    u loook sharpp

  • I SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is not exactly true in many cases.

Per Newsweek, 9/23/10 article, Men's Lib:

"In the countries biggest cities, young, single, childless women already earn 8% more than their male peers"

  • 77 cents on the dollar? That's a bargin, since its proven that women only have 50% of the brain capacity.

  • I am not sure how accurate these stats are, but considering fewer men are getting graduate level degrees than women, it's a fallacious argument to claim more men are actually qualified for higher paying jobs. That's highly questionable.

  • Terrible. Women dont want the same they want more. The Orion princess model in effect. There never was 'equal rights'. its always been for women 'do as i say , not as i do'. Your going to see more of this crap coming up. Why can women be happy being women and stop playing the victim role?

  • I like this. Thanks NWLC.

  • Actually, Single women under 30 make MORE than single men under 30

  • A study of the gender wage gap conducted by economist June O' Neill, former director of the Congressional Budget Office, found that women earn 98 percent of what men do when controlled for experience, education, and number of years on the job.

  • @jaymhammers Your comments are too logical for them to understand.

  • Every recent, unbiased study I have seen has shown that when accounting for all factors the "wage gap" is less than 2%.

  • I'd hit it.

  • Oh, and in case you didn't realize it, harder and more dangerous jobs pay MORE.

And men work more overtime and work part-time less often than women.

    Pretty simple, really.

  • I said "For equal work".

    Not equal hours.

Men dominate engineering jobs, manufacturing jobs, executive positions, and physical labor, which are all harder or more dangerous than such female-dominated jobs such as teaching, menial office work, human resources, public sector jobs, and the medical field.

Men are 90% of job deaths for a reason.

Women choose soft degrees like English because they can just find a man to marry and work their lives away for them. Men don't have that choice.

  • @jaymhammers: They don't address it in this video, but these statistics usually about "equal work". I haven't seen any recently, but I read some very well-done studies in the early 90's that showed a huge gap for people with the same background, same education, same experience, same job description, same expectations. It's a real effect and you're in denial.

That said, I'm a little skeptical of this legislation accomplishing much besides lowering men's salary, but the numbers are valid.

  • @jaymhammers Get over yourself, kiddo. Women with engineering and other science degress still make less than comparable degreed men. Women make up only 6% of CEOs - not because they are underqualified for the job by education or experience but because men have maintained these positions and guard the executive washroom with the glass ceiling. I have yet to hear of a "dangerous" CEO job resulting in a higher death rate for men.

  • @jaymhammers Your commentary to female-dominated work such as menail only perpetuates the passive agression feelings of men towards women in the workforce. Wake up and join the real world in the new millenium.

  • we are according to a government & economic system we support!

  • The 77 cents number is grossly inaccurate. Women make less because they work less, they choose easier jobs, they work part-time more often, and they take time off of work more often. For equal work, men actually get paid less in the young generations, due to all the programs out there to make it easier for women to get jobs (and therefore harder for men to).

  • @jaymhammers Women working 41 to 44 hours per week earn 84.6% of what men working similar hours earn; women working more than 60 hours per week earn only 78.3% of what men in the same time category earn (Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics). Minority women fare the worst. African-American women earn just 64 cents to every dollar earned by white men, and for Hispanic women that figure drops to merely 52 cents per dollar.

Women working part-time are often not used in these statistics.

  • @jaymhammers Those gaps exist when you adjust for all those things. And we take easier jobs? Are you kidding?
