@kris7654321 depends, Same story, Improved graphics, Platinum and D/P are good. But it depends if you want something new or just something for nostalgia. Like HG/SS are just G/S but with better graphics. Compatibility with D/P/P, the GTS, And the new pokewalker.

I'm pretty sure you can get Ho-Oh. But there's a catch. You need to have Suicune, Entei, and Raikou. Then go to Ecruteak city and go to the place where you got Suicune. Talk to one of the old guys :P. Then a staircase should show up. Last figure out the maze until you get to Ho-Oh.

That's the way you do it in the original versions so it might work in the new ones. Sorry if it doesn't work

I still remember the excitement I had with the first incarnation of this. I got silver first, then gold & crystal. And I still remember the feeling of joy I got from playing it, and the frustration too. (I apparently bit my game-boy color according to my parents, but hey 5-year-olds will be 5 -year-olds.) Needless to say I WILL be getting this, SoulSilver first then we'll see about gold. Its gonna be hard deciding between Cyndaquil and Totodile- Again.

If you get soul silver then the legendary pokemon towards the end of the game will be Lugia. If you get heart gold then it will be Ho-Oh. That's the difference, but some pokemon might only be available on certain games like what happened when ruby and sapphire came out.
