I love the idea of this tool, but I just got a laptop and have not the funds for an Ipad/pod/....
Is there a way for me to use it with a laptop and midi ?

You clearly have no understanding of basic harmony. Your progression has no direction and sounds awful. I'm sure in the right hands this app would be good, but without an understanding of what sounds good horizontally as well as vertically it is useless.

Gratulation ! indeed, this is one of the "holiest" devices i have heard. While musicologists ( Hugo Riemann, Lemacher-Schroeder and others) have taught their students most primitive chord progressions like C-F-G-C on the basis of most complicated theory, you use the reverse method and give them most developed harmony with zero theory . your method: identity of graphics=identity of fingering=identity of sound ! the lack of theory doesn't matter because the human ear is always calculating inside.

@emeraldomusik Thank you, and I must say the "musicolgists" hate it!! I can get the same result without years of complex theory and then actually play it.
