This would have been so much better for Brawl... Pit is known as a dirty spammer in Brawl, but Ike is also classified as a character nobody likes to fight but nobody hates him that much because he doesn't look or sound like a loser like Pit.

For all you guys yelling about how they don't like his look, this was just a prototype. This is like a concept for what they wanted, that model looks like a model from their other recent game lair. Looks more like they were just using that as a placeholder for the real model.

Kid Icarus, much like the Ice Climber series, was decent at best, and everyone's acting like it was such big shit because the main characters were in SSB. I've heard countless 11 year olds claim that they loved their games and want sequels, but not only did the originals suck (to a debate-able degree), but they would suck some major ass in 3D, or even as just 2D installments.

matt typically does know things. his real problem is reporting games that are being pitched (but are not actually in development) as being in development, which seems to be the case here. was the same deal with winter and halo ds. both technically "exist(ed)" but were never actually picked up by a publisher, yet matt still talked about them like they were actually in development. this definitely seems to be the same case as with kid icarus.
