  • XXX was the pilot. No wonder.

  • lol my uncle lives next to this base the euro fighters just fly arond the base all day

  • I'm not sure of the relevance of the comments about the name. Nobody would call it Typhoon II anyway, it's called the Tiff or Tiffy in the RAF, and the guys I know that work on it (a very cynical bunch) praise it frequently.

Modern fast jets are incomparably more complex that those of 30 years ago, and they ALL struggle through development.

  • @AlanMartinNala

Your 'friend' doesn't have a clue what he's on about. ALL aircraft have development problems, especially in service. The Tornado, for example, has only been properly sorted in the last few years and has been in service for over thirty years.

I like the look of the Typhoon, which, incidentally, I saw some of the prototypes of being built at Warton in 1991. The EAP was flying before then, but as its name suggests, the EAP was just a project aircraft, not a prototype.

    The Typhoo

  • @tonylockhart1963 Yes, I don´t know of many aircraft which development was free from problems, but the Eurofighter´s seemed to be more than usual. That was my point. This aicraft was supposed to be called "Typhoon II" rather than just "Typhoon", right? It seems that some have forgotten about the WWII piston-engined Hawker Typhoon. I still hold my own viewpoint on how ugly this aircraft is, but it´s just a personal opinion.

  • The engines sure didn't like ingesting all those sparks.

  • It's Britain's fault for letting the rest of Europe take part in what was mostly a BAE project. .

  • Crash of the UGLIEST jet fighter that ever flew (or one of the ugliest ones), to my view. It might´ve only had 2 or 3 crashes so far, but that´s just part of the story, if I´m not wrong. The prototype made its maiden flight in the mid 80s or early 90s, I think, and ever since it never stopped giving problems of one kind or another to its designers. A friend of mine told me that this aircraft will be the one with the lowest rate of losses in combat... because it will never enter combat seriously.

  • anything with the word Euro before it will crash.

  • thats how all the typhoon coffin should end up

  • that looked like a test aircraft at BAE systems private runway

  • @RamageGaming

No the crash took place at RAF Coningsby and after repair went back flying

  • @RamageGaming With hardened aircraft shelters in the background and the marking of 29 Sqn.... really?!

  • @coffee2bsmelt well they have aircraft shelters at the testing runway obviously but i didnt notice the 29 sqn

  • @RamageGaming it has squadron markings on it

  • Remember No drink flying

Waste of cash in a trash

Cheap planes and too much talk

Mercedes Benz is better than these.

  • i told you it was crap

  • lol my dad was in 29 squadron

  • All militaries should go back to biplanes ;)

  • FAKE - eurofighters cannot crash!

  • @risagainst95

I think they can. If you sink too fast while landing something like that happens.

  • Ouch. Expensive mistake.

  • @Paganfuckingsexgod mistake? you think the pilot dont extended the front gear because he wanted?

  • Radar's shot, engine's shot. That's 2 million for you. will it be cash or credit card?

  • well thats 90million quid oot the window

  • @Spitfirefan1397 nope, it was bak flying in 2 months

  • A little Bondo and duct tape...

  • hope he had protected no claims discount and windscreen cover te he he

  • There have been only 2 Typhoon crashes since they came into service and thye were both in he Spanish Air Force !!!!! :).

  • @TobyParr

There have been 3 crashes. One is the video you are commenting on and is British. It was repaired and has been flying for a while and has just entered a 14 month upgade at BAE. The spanish jet was one of the develoment aircraft(engine failure and crew bailed out 30,000 feet). The last one was another british one which did a gear up landing at Chine lake (aircraft wriiten off)

  • @smilingvulcan You are referring to the same RAF typhoon. It was a wheel up landing, not really a crash.

  • @TobyParr and the RAF, as the video shows

  • @TobyParr lol

  • 前脚折れた??

  • Attached to the XXX rated Air Force!?

  • POLY CEMENT!!! :p

  • bit of tape will do the job maybe a little silicon to just to be sure

  • ooh, dont worry, it's only a 140 million dollar fireworks display

  • that'll buff right out

  • aaahm that isn't an eurofighter?!

  • @TheARMAProductions One thing about us is that we never go public. The LHC for us is old school...nothing impressive..:)

  • @TheARMAProductions hahahahaha... LOL

  • @TheARMAProductions what queen???...LOL

  • @TheARMAProductions Proud to be an American. :)

  • @TheARMAProductions I think you people have gone mad. A tiny island like the UK that is limited is resources and is 94,000 square miles, you are by far an ease target. You factories and your small manufacturing industries wont stand a chance to the full industrial power the US has over europe. Russia has gone to space and the US has outnumbered the world in space expeditions. How many space expeditions has the UK done for the past 20 years?? BTW you're full of crap....LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @TheARMAProductions And why should I? you don't see advertising garbage like you....LOL

  • @TheARMAProductions A picture is worth a thousand words !!! that's all I have to say and as for the rest is just a bunch of garbage coming out of you. I feel sorry for the UK in general, you people have the worst weather and all of you people live in a tiny island. I suggest you to go and read and educate yourself more before commenting. You people are all lunatics thinking of comparing yourselves with the muscle power of the US and Russian air force tech.hahahaha don't make me laugh..LOL

  • MADE IN THE UK...LOL

  • bah! nothing a lick of paint wont sort...

  • Youtube is for videos not slideshows :/

  • ok and the price on this was.

  • What is it about the military videos that always bring out the highly biased politicos, on all sides of every arguement? Also, why are most of them unable to string a readable sentence together?

  • هههههههههه هذى غباء من الطيار ليس عيب في الطائرة KSA

  • at least to fly and still the only one of the neat

  • It's not a crash, it's called a scratch.

  • I'm sure I'll get told why, but I can't understand why knowing there's a fault with the gear, they don't: A. (as dieseltrainfreek said) coat the center of the runway with foam to prevent sparks, or B. Land on the grass next to the runway as grass and soil shouldn't cause enough friction for sparks.

  • ok ive watched ive read and i agree the eurofighter is a nice plane... but seriously... PICTURES... its like watching a loading screen BORING!

  • That'll buff out....

  • how can the R.A.F forget to put the front wheel down

  • That will buff out.

  • NO FUCKING WAY! THAT'S 29(R) SQUADRON!!!

I worked on those very Eurofighters!!!!! What is the the tail registration on that one?

  • @qwertylockley

    Its BT011 (ZJ810)

  • @smilingvulcan

I don't remember seeing that one.

I think this one doesn't have the FLIR on the front, that means it's an older model, right?

(And just wondering, why was the air-to-air refuel probe out?)

  • @qwertylockley

The first 43 aircraft did not have a flir on build. They where fitted during the R2 upgrade which BT011 will enter into later this year.

I am not sure for the reasoning behind it but, it is supposed to tell everybody that the plane is in trouble

  • @smilingvulcan nnnnnnnnnnooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!! no no no no no

  • Respond to this video... nnnnnnnooooooooooooo no bno no no

  • @qwertylockley

The thing I love about your comments.

I read the "I don't remember seeing that one." in a "Uhm, I don't recall that. It must not have been there..." *You back away, suspiciously* manner.

  • Eurofagger Sucks Dick!

@qwertylockley is a lame plane & name Eurofagger fits its perfectly + yo is a Eurodweeber & Eurodorker + how about Euromuthafucka? Cockpit is jammed + this plane is for Euromidgets. Its under powered with a lame computer + its aint got a clue when it comes to stealth + stands out like a sore thumb. No gattling guns,no J-DAM + its look like a bunch of stupid Eurotards designed it. A Russian Mig-15 would make short work of this flying piece of shit with two wings!

  • @LottoWinner999

    I disagree!

I've been in the cockpit, it's very nice, actually.

    It really isn't underpowered. Really.

It uses very up-to-date weapons (although to be honest it should have more of a selection)

It has actually got stealth aspects of the design, but to be honest, it's not exactly designed to be massively stealthy.

  • @LottoWinner999 "Underpowered"? lol.. It has more 'power to weight' than an F-22 yet you say that. Only a warped, Hollywood educated amerofagger would believe any of that crap you are spouting off.

  • @mustanglead Now your a copy cat but your guys are known as Eurofaggers!

  • @mustanglead Let me tell U what I think of British perverts like U who would get down on their knees in joy so U could lick your whore queesn crusty, greasy old pussy just dripping with pus for U to lap up.Its amazing U flaming Brits worship your whore queen who robs UKs working poor + military with nostalgic propaganda. Your idiots for supporting a Whore Queen and Michael Collins whipped + kicked your Limey puckered assholes of Ireland + soon U will be kicked out of N. Ireland.

  • @LottoWinner999 From someone who served there (NI) my putrid cousin from across the ocean, I couldn't care less whether they get it back or not. The place is a shit hole and full of Americans who can't swim and scousers who can. lol. You were wrong with regards your original comment so get over it you silly little boy.

  • @mustanglead

Ignore him, he just got released from a mental hospital...something about molesting small furry woodland creatures...

  • @qwertylockley Mid-air refueling probe could be out for one of two reasons. 1) to minimise damage so more of the aircraft could be salvagable or 2) to give as much wind resistance as possible and make the landing as short as possible. (every little helps)

  • @TheTruemouse

    Yes! You must be correct.

  • @qwertylockley Brovo Indigo.

  • funnily enough... this aircraft is now flying again... cos theyre rather well built...

  • A Russian pilot would have just pulled a wheelie-landing and there would be no damage to the plane

  • I didnt know women where in the airforce

  • Love it when idiots comment on videos and fight like children. *read below....*

  • hahahah bye bye 90 million euro!

  • Rubbish engineering

  • In Denmark we use to lay out foam before landing like that !

  • @dieseltrainfreek Foam? All we had was some whipped cream in the back of the fridge.

  • Comment removed

  • lol and thats the future of european defence. tornados and ee lightnings anyday

  • They should reinforce the fronts of the canards, would help stopping in such situation ;-)

  • As clearly indicated by the insignia this aircraft belongs to agent Triple X Triple X...

  • for malon (malaysia trully malingasia)..

    u see that,,

    plane u want to buy...

    your scorpene can't dive..

your su-30mkm pilots has eject in hangar(still on the ground)

    how fool this country..

  • cutting U.S. forgin aid of 47 billion dollars would get that rating back to AAA the next day. is never been a better time to be an american.

  • English bond rate was warend to be down graded by moodys from AAA to AA+ well thats no surprize either now is it?

  • Stupid dumbass boys and their toys wasting OUR money .

  • @permaveg OUR money being spent on OUR defence. shut up retard

  • @Pringles352 And just who is it we need defending from then i would like to know?

  • @Pringles352 I will say it again , what do we need defending from, seems you dont even know, what a surprise, you ought to try thinking for yourself and stop allowing yourself to be brainwashed by our war mongering goverment.

  • @permaveg i havnt been brainwashed by anyone. i have my own beliefs.. and i believe that we should have optimum security and defence capabilities for peace keeping, war, anti - piracy and counter terrorism. you may not think so (which would be very stupid), but i think those factors are important. i will be more than happy for my taxes to go on defence spending projects such as the eurofighter. i would rather they go on defence than on welfare for fat uneducated single mums with 15 kids.

  • @Pringles352 I find it a contradiction to say we need weapons of today that cause mass destruction because they create peace, Cromwells moto on his coinage read " peace is sought by war". These aircraft do not defend us, they are used today to bring destruction in lands that have no intention of invading us, Iraq, Afghanistan and now Libya, the Spitfire of WWII was different, it was defending us. The £ spent today on these weapons could make hospitals, schools etc. >

  • @Pringles352 > Instead its used for the global elite to wipe out the people in these countries that wont bow down to what we want from their land, often oil, it is a misuse of power on a huge destructive scale, at the moment the UK is spending £4 million a month on bombing Libya, while people in the UK struggle to make ends meet, these wars are deliberately created for the massive arms trade and for the benefit of a minority that benefit the most.

  • @permaveg it wasnt us that caused gadaffi to kill his own citizens... it isnt our fault that the taliban are a threat - if they wont support democracy or international law then we will respond. we choose to go to war, but with a cause. many people in the UK who are in poverty are so as a result of their own stupid actions, although there are some people who want to work and the situation they are in is not their fault... but i dont want to see any anti - tory talk, as last 13yrs was labour

  • @Pringles352 You have just proved that you dont think for yourself but believe the bollocks politicians pump out, "Tory" or labour makes no difference, you cant see that can you ? They have been given an agenda if they abide by it then they can stay in power, its just an illusion of democracy, and you are hypnotized 100%. "Taliban", you ought to do some real research on the illusion of Al queda set up by CIA in early 80s, let me guess, you think they did 9/11 and 7/7.

  • @Pringles352 You are proof of the old maxim " A little knowledge is a dangerous thing"", you really should wake up from the illusion and look for the truth ( its not an opinion) and stop allowing your thoughts to be controlled by the politicians and their controllers. Ba ram ewe ! bye bye you shleep.

  • @permaveg and lots of what you say is opinion.. i have different opions. and i believe we need and should have an airforce to the maximum standard. end of conversation

  • @Pringles352 No thats not an opinion thats someone elses opinion you have bought in to, subtle distinction you cant see. You dont want to see any anti- tory talk, if the marxist's instead of the fascists were in power i would slag them off too, ok , they are all corrupt and under the thumb of their masters, politics is lies deception and corruption, bollocks to any isim. Go and eat your grass.

  • it'll buff out

  • asians have the best tech

  • @SuperCheetah777

Apparently the worst planes and cars though? hmm........strange.

  • @slobhinav If this is the case then why most of the european cmpanies order china to build their parts Asia is a jiant which is coming, and rapidly advancing in technology economy americans economy is to b collapsed "AA rating" after 100 years asia is coming the most populous amd most powerful ur west take an alliance of 24 to invade a small miitia county think when u have to fight a reguar country what will u do .........

west r liars and theives ............SOOOOO strange

  • @SuperCheetah777

By parts, you mean screws and nails. None of the advanced parts are made in China. If they are, they are horrible.

I can easily think of 2 counter examples of Europeans not buying from China.

    Germany first, then France.

All the other stuff you said was just fluff and anger, no facts there.

  • @SuperCheetah777 euro companies moved factories to europe for cheap labor, so thats where you order parts. and americas rating is AA+ and so is chinas rating of AA+, shocking isnt it? now lets have a go at englands rating.

  • @SuperCheetah777 Well my little Paki you can be rest assured your pitiful stock-pile of Nukes is targed the USA Ballsitic Missile. The Chinese are not fonf of Pakis cus they have a problem of being some-what compulsive liars. Also China would like to own Pakistan of course without the people especailly one like you. Of course India can defeat Pakistan in matter of minuted so more or less your Pakis are doomed to oblivion!

  • @LottoWinner999 HAHAHAAAAAAAAAA TYPICAL INDIANS!!!! JUST GO AND HAVE SOME PISS DRINK OF COW WHICH IS SACRED IN UR RELIGION ITS UR REALITY DON,T PRESSURISE UR BRAIN BY THINKING

  • what the fuck? why didn't the pilot ejected ?

  • European engineering at its best! LOL, LMOAE. Quality Eurotard construction? Is it suppose to fly?

  • was this at RAF conisby?

  • That will T-cut out!!

  • just needs a little WD-40 then it will work

  • HAHAHAHA, they ask 75.000.000 dollars for 1 eurofighter and this is what you get?

  • he should have shut the engines down, and come in deadstick.

  • @stainless1911

Eurofighter is an unstable aircraft and needs computers and hydralics to keep it flying. Once the engines are off then she will run out of hydralic pressure within minutes and crash. This is what happened to the Spanish development aircraft, forcing the pilots to eject at 30,000 feet or so

  • @smilingvulcan Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I think they should design some redundant system into the aircraft to keep it flyable though, the controls should be the last thing to fail, even under catastrophic circumstances.

  • @smilingvulcan

it is made to be unstable so when you need to do high g manouversyou simply switch stability controlls off and pull away

  • @smilingvulcan APU can provide hydraulic pressure and energy for computers?

  • @smilingvulcan relying on so much technolegy, somehow that cant be a good thing on the long run

  • @smilingvulcan the F-16 is also an un stable design. read to me were your suposed to ride the plane down in an engine faliure? your stament is pure horseshit in my book.

  • @smilingvulcan every modern plane is unstable, like F-16 and many others...

  • @007999999999999999

F16 is a fly by wire aircraft but it not unstable. The computing power was not available when it was designed. You have to go to Typhoon, F22, F35, etc to get unstable aircraft

  • @smilingvulcan yeah but with no fly by wire F-16 will crash instantly, like a sack full of potatoes. xD

  • @smilingvulcan the F-16 is a unstable design

  • @smilingvulcan

It is unstable, without flcs f16 = ground nail.

  • @smilingvulcan You're wrong the F18 is unstable as hell. It also has aoto launch. Watch the pilots on a carrier launch. Both hands are on the handles until airborn

  • @smilingvulcan So is the f117, B2 etc

  • @007999999999999999 look up the bird stirke f-16 video and then say the f-16 is unstable. just saying.

  • @smilingvulcan Unstability is part of the jet fighter design concept to gain extreme agility, so computer aided stability is critical. Russian designers don't buy this concept. apparently after they experimenting with swept forward wing su 37.

  • @smilingvulcan All modern fighters are like that except the A10

  • @smilingvulcan Well any modern aircraft is designed like that. Even the old F16 would crash without computer support. It makes the plane more agile.

  • @stainless1911 Why on earth would you want to do that? To spare the engine? How about sparing the pilots life, is that less important than that lump of spinning metal behind his back?

  • @Tjita1 To lower the risk of fire and explosion.

  • @stainless1911 That's really not an issue. All the fuel is still in the tanks and the sparking seen in the pictures are caused by it dragging it's nose in the ground. The sparks seen from the engines are most likely sparks from the nose ingested by the engine and blown through the bypass canal through to the back.

If there were to occur such a severe problem that the engine would need to be stopped, the proper way to proceed would be to simply leave the aircraft, when you have the ability.

  • @stainless1911

They cant. Eurofighters are very unstable - without foreward thrust from the engines they literally drop out of the sky. 20 ft down for about 3ft foreward. Eurofighters CANNOT glide.

  • oj tam oj tam, wyklepie sie

  • At least it wasn't pilot error,

  • what a piece of crap :D

    modified F16s ftw

  • does he have to pay?

  • Your Face! God damit !!

  • Typhoon: Now with 2 wheels for light weight and optimised performance

  • oh bugger

  • FOD'd out those engines, as well. Gonna be a pricey fix.

  • @jonesy97 scrapped it. put it on jacks and stripped it for spares.

  • @pyro999maniac Yeah, you're right. Probably just became a hangar queen. Canabalized 'till there's nothing left.

  • lol 100 Million Euro!

  • it's oookkkkkk.. ooookkkkk... it's goingggg.. goinggggggg....

    and there goes £70,000,000

  • This was a testflight before it was introduced into service. Normal Issue. Dont ask about issues with the raptor in concerns of testflight!

  • @seby621 Hi everyone. It seems that many people here misunderstood my post. I never ment to say that the pilot could be Israeli, all I ment was that I have no part in the " big muscle" Eurofyghter vs F 22 match since I am Israeli. I'm sure that both planes are great performers but my remark was about the pilot's skill and character, not about plane's ability. I still stand behind my statement, that pilot (apparently British) deserves all our respect for saving the day, after all. Cheers !

  • @sloantrevor121 y dont you take ya self elsewere

  • Well theres your problem! there's no front landing gear ,we should have her fixed up by tommorow.

  • @AngrySwampManStudios : The F-22 is not as invisble as you seem to think. Modern radar systems can detect and track a fighter by the wake of turbulent air it leaves. And the F-22 is anything but invisble in IR, just take a look at its bright afterburners. And finally: unit cost for the Typhoon is $130 million vs. $150 million for the F-22.

The jets simply can't be compared directly, one is a Formula 1 car and the other a Nascar racer. Similar but not the same.

  • useless :)

  • Fuck F-22 ! !

  • i would think the parachute would cause a sudden deceleration and slam the nose down...

  • It`s a krap... Euroshit >>> Keep working boys !!!
