wow angel romero es el mejor ejecutante de este concierto ever , he's the best ...congratulations.....bravooooo maestro lei e' il migliore interprete di questo meraviglioso concertoBRAVISSIMOOOOOO
Superbly masterful, not only with the technical precision but more so the overall expression and execution. No doubt other greats (like John Williams, Pepe Romero, Russell and Parkening) could play this piece, but it is so enjoyable to hear Angel play as well as to see him perform. Bravo, Maestro Angel!! Hope you could schedule a performance in the Mid-west area some time.
super duper MEAN. angel is a BEAST. does he sometimes use i and a on some of the scalic passages? coz that's super hard to do. anyway he's MEAN, MEAN, MEAN. sounds like quite a heavy influence from Piazzolla in this composition
The piece is gorgeous. I´d like to see ANY guitarist pull it off with this power and tone. Angel has gone way beyond Segovia...light years. That doesn´t mean better...it means that Angel has defined himself in a class unto himself.
I wouldn't say so. It seems to me that he comes from his own family's school. The Romeros, starting from Celedonio, developed a distinguished approach to the classical guitar playing. You see, they are very flamenco influenced, not only technically, but also in the selection of repertoire. And that's something Segovia chose to set aside from his own view on what classical guitar music should be like.
I love this great maestro of the guitar. Please come and play for us in Israel.

what a beautiful composition. I'm always amazed at Angel Romero's technique and sound.
Would you say he is from the "Segovian" school?
He seems to have taken guitar playing much further!

Hi, Miguel!

Angel is hardly Segovia school: his fingers were always much more agile and his tone is far bigger, more clear and much more articulate.

We said Segovian school not Segovian-level. Concentrate!

Angel is a far better musician. He plays passages here that even Segovia in his prime could not have pulled off. What´s your point?
