Perhaps the eye troubling you is the one that can see a perspective other than its own--that sees another's pain, rather than his own gain and comfort. Is the soft-spoken male you worry about the same one you hear yelling? You admit your interests worry you. YOU'RE now paying for the uninsured, and for those bankrupted by our system. Grave illness costs more than prevention or early treatment. The upper class gets care. The poor do, too--eventually. It's the middle class that's being saved here.

The eye that alters, alters all. The niche that "progress" or "progressive" plays to will believe anything from a soft spoken male. The more I hear them yell how free they are, the more I hear the rattle of their chains. Please progressives, I beg you, for yourself as well as my interests, quit pushing. Your end are a two class society, Conservative Individualists know you spend 80% more to get the last 20% and the great Middle Class of achievers makes us a stable nation.

OR, you could just spare us and wake up for a change. Then we wouldn't have to "push." Conservatives are the ones keeping poor people poor, while making rich people richer. They are the ones keeping gay people from achieving equal rights. They are the ones who defend illegal war crimes. They are the ones who try to take away a woman's right to choose. They are the ones trying to dictate our religion. They are the ones who encourage the destruction of our environment. Why would we stop pushing?
