just because of this stupid kick down 5 sec power down timer problem for TK-70 in Turbo Mode. Thanks.
You making many people very Tu Lan because of this issue. Letting people though that it's D size Tenergy Premium Problem. In the end, it's Fenix TK70 Stupid 5 sec power down timer problem. Thanks
Son of the Bitch Fexin TK-70, Design this stupid Kick down power mode which only can last 5 sec only.
Why could this happen for Fenix TK70, Why got such stupid kick down 5 sec power down timer problem for TK-70 in Turbo Mode? Why "2200Lumen" can only hold for 5 sec & then later drop down to 1480Lumen.
From Top1 in list for 5 sec & then later drop down to Below Olight SR-92 standard. Why u want to do that stupid power down mode in 5 sec inside TK-70 & cheat us all? Why!!!
can someone please tell me if they had any loctite or trouble replacing their TK15 tailcap?? my tailcap wont unscrew to replace the boot. IF YOU HAVE ANY AWNSERS PLEASE TELL ME! how did you remove your loctite off any of your lights and is their some tool that i can use because i have used everything in my house to try to unscrew it but cannot.
Look into a jetbeam with a R5 there really good and not having the donut hole. I'm getting one this week and wondering if mine will have the donut hole.
i heard that this light has a "donut" in the center of the beam. is that true? pictures ive seen dont have it. not sure if its the first batch of tk15's or not
Im a firefighter with this light on my helmet. GREAT illumination. Matches my big D cell maglight. But, tail cap toggle switch failed after high heat. Will now come on with contiuous pressure only......will not toggle on. Gotta buy a new tail cap toggle switch.
Having said all that I don't want to buy a 90 dollar flashlight. Plus a charger and cr123s would be around 120. I felt pretty stupid when my dad told me to use two cheap flashlights together against a realy expensive fancy flashlight. Two terralux 180 flashlights can be brighter then a led lenser t7 for 50 bucks and I image brighter then the tk15 or at least very close.
I got the led lenser t7 but i was dissapointed with the design. It just rolls on a table. It can't stand upright for candle mode. Plus in actual real life use. The very focus beam just gives tunnel vision . When the flashlight is on flood. The light is just way to weak for outdoors. If you shoot it at 5 meters away on flood you just see a very blue beam. On flood mode is great for looking at something right on your feet or a couple of meters away.
Buy a Led Lenser MT7(ore M7) instead and u get a flashlight with very good focus settings and it runs on 4xAAA batteries which you can buy at any gas station. MT7 is cheaper.
@Atzoon I do not like lights that use loads of AA or AAA batteries. I use single AA or AAA lights and all my others are CR123 only because of their reliability and temperature resistance.
@Atzoon I have held an led lenser before and I did not like the feel of the light, especially since it takes multiple AA or AAA batteries. I will never use a light like that. Too bulky using batteries that are not that great.
I hate CR123 batteries,they are not as good as people make them out to be, I would rather have AA,C or D style battery any day. CR123s are over priced and their performance is mediocre at best. the Torch is nice though.grest vid Wes..
@576ito1080p Depends on what you are doing with them. CR123 are lithium and therefor can work in low temperatures where Nimh and alkaline would fade out on you pretty quick. Plus its a power storage vs size and shape issue. You don't always want to design a long light or a wide light, yet still having the power needed in the light. There are cheap places to get CR123 in the UK online. If you wanna know where just send me a message on here and I will tell you.
Seriously, up until the R5 I haven't been impressed enough to purchase ANY cr123 lights. Everything at 100 feet is done with my LD20.
I may still wait a bit, as I also love the idea of the TK40. We'll see what else comes out in the near future after this light. The only thing I don't like too much about this light just from seeing it is the silver side button. It may be useful, but I almost would rather have mode changing as is done in the LD20.
The eagletac P20C2 mark ll is like 395 lumens, both lights are crazy however bad part about it is its only a flood light unlike the P10C2 is more distance beamshot.
I know another use for a Fenix light. A hand warmer. I noticed the warning label HOT. I thought it would make a good video of recording the temperature of the case at the highest output. My PD20 gets pretty hot on high. Love the info.
Excellent camera resolution in daytime. Shows the fit and finish, knurling and other detail fine. What video camera were you using?

There is an 'icon' near the top that has the word "HOT" under it... can someone tell me why that is there an for what purpose??
As "heat" generally is the enemy of any electronic piece of equipment.
Thanks for letting me know why it's there.

@Atzoon they blow.

@Atzoon Led Lenser are unregulated so the light dims. They are overpriced considering they lack this feature which all of the good flashlights have.
VTTennis2011 2 months ago
@Atzoon
I will never buy a LED Lenser again. For me, they are BAD.
Their new ''regulation'' is pretty false too. Isn't powerful either, compared to new XM-L flashlights etc..
I have a 2CR123 light at 900 Out the front lumen at a XM-L LED, the MT7 can't even compare
